Family of 5 travelling to south of France (4 adults, 1 child) stayed one night August 2016. Stayed in balcony and pink room. Chose it because thought 7 year old grandson would enjoy staying in a castle and the use of the pool after a long drive. Was not disappointed with castle. Steadily being renovated. Bedrooms in keeping with chateaux...

We booked this place through booking.com and we acknowledge that it was a last minute booking with very little available in the area owing to a fete that evening. We were checked in by two adolescent women who chided, teased and argued with each other instead of serving us professionally. We were checked into a nice looking room (chambre blanche)...

I am not sure how this campsite get such good reviews. Have the owners changed? Expensive for what it was, particularly the mark up on good and drink in the cafe bar was extortionate. Seems they take advantage of being an isolated site and a captive market. Most disappointing was bread and fresh milk ordered the night before but then...

Stopped a Château La Grange on the way down to South of France- in the La Tour bedroom. As said, almost impossible to rate in the traditional way. The room was very old fashioned, in Château style with original furniture- and a lovely view. A small modern shower-room with a tiny separate WC. Breakfast was in the veranda downstairs- French...

We pitched our tent for an overnight stay and loved the quirky castle buildings and beautiful views so much, we stayed for a further 3 nights. As it is early in the season, some of the campsite facilities were not open, and some of the wash blocks closed. However it did not matter too much. We ordered fresh bread each...

I found this site when hunting for campsites close to motorway on the way to Valras plage we arrived at about 6.30 in the evening reception was very busy but friendly. They booked us in and offered fresh bread for the morning,. We didn't use the facilities as it was late by the time we set up our tent for...

Fabulous looking real castle and good location for an overnight stay on a long journey through France. The newly decorated (Ikea furnished) bedroom we had was clean and tasteful, but more B&B standard than the hotel standard we expected based on the price. And to use the toilet you needed to undress appropriately before closing the door, as there was...

Booked for an over night stay in the camper van on the way back home and even though we were only there for the night we all loved it. Being only a few miles from the motorway made it an ideal stopover spot but the site was really quiet and peaceful. As it was late in August it wasn't busy...

We chose this site to stop at on our way down to Spain, owing to its location not far from the motorway. We were not disappointed! It is a very well kept campsite, large shady plots with immaculate facilities. The reception staff were very welcoming and friendly. We loved the quirky feel, we felt like we were on a film...
