We almost hate to add our kudos to other reviewers who have been lucky enough to stay with Terri at La Lanterne. Make your reservations early! The location is perfect for exploring Sarlat and Terri is more than helpful with directions and shortcuts. Terri has made a welcoming home for her guests and it is both comfortable and beautiful. Then...

First, Terri was a friendly hostess who made us feel welcome as soon as we arrived within her inviting courtyard; she offered us a drink and patiently gave us excellent advice on making the most of our two days in Sarlat. Our room was very comfortable, the breakfast was good and we enjoyed the company of her two dogs --...

We spent six days with Terri, the owner, at this elegant yet comfortable and friendly B&B in Sarlat. Terri is well known in the community, and she is a delightful hostess. Our breakfasts were so much more than coffee and bread--tasty fresh fruit, yogurt and granola. The evening gatherings with other guests for wine and sharing that day's market treats,...

Terri and her two sidekicks, Frodo and Fibi, provided us with a wonderful week in the charming town of Sarlat. The house is beautiful and the rooms are very comfortable. What makes this house so special is Terri. She is delightful and very caring. We enjoyed evenings in the common room with Terri and the other guests drinking wine and...

She provided us with exactly what we needed after traveling all day...a refreshing glass of wine! After showing us our lovely rooms she helped us with reservations to a fabulous restaurant a short walk up the road. I can't say enough great...

La Lanterne is directly from the actual Lanterne which is a tower here in the old city. Our host, Terri, is a lovely woman who is accommodating, gracious, generous, and just a wonderful host. She has given good advice, regarding tours, restaurants, and day trips. The home is beautiful, and our room is comfortable. There is a lounge downstairs that...

This is a gorgeous, well restored historical building. Though the building is old the guest rooms are modern and comfortable. The owner is very proud of this place and wants all guests to enjoy their stay. It's hard to imagine a more well situated and beautiful place to stay in the area.

The location is brilliant, just inside the walls. Terri greats you and her home could not be lovelier! She has 2 small dogs that were a treat for us as we are dog lovers. The rooms are spacious and a very comfortable bed with a variety of pillows to rest with. Her breakfast is delicious and filling to start your...

We really enjoyed our 6 nights at La Lanterne. Terri is a perfect hostess, very warm and welcoming with a keen British sense of humor. Parking in a free lot up by the town garden is just a 5 minute walk away. Terri makes sure you have everything you need for a perfect stay -- a mini-fridge in the lobby...
