We stayed here recently for one night. It's a great location right on the edge of the medieval city. Our room for three was spacious and charming with curtains offering privacy for the person with the single bed. Lots of natural light and comfortable beds. Would recommend the restaurant as well.

Our small room was a great value. We loved the firm bed and strong shower. Hotel is very well maintained, in an excellent location, and a perfect place to stay in this very interesting town. The restaurant is very busy and I wish we had made reservations for dinner there.

Very nice quiet hotel. It is in an old building so the spaces are a little odd. Our room had several stairs within the room which didn't bother us at all but might be a problem for some. Dinner at the restaurant was also quite good.

We arrived at the hotel and the check in was was fast. We stayed in room for a family of 4 which had a queen bed and another room with 2 twin beds. The room is spacious and with 2 big windows with views of the old buildings on the outside. We decided to eat at the restaurant which was...

Great hotel in a great little town. Good place, to take day trips from if you have a car. Easy to navigate in a car with GPS as there is little traffic. Great market in town. Hotel has an elevator but there is one step up into the hotel and another to the elevator. Some rooms are on the same...

This hotel had everything we needed. Very pleasant, hardworking and very helpful receptionist who later turned up as waitress at dinner and made a phone call to try to track down some clothing we had left at a previous hotel. Room was fine albeit not quite as much bare stone wall as appeared in one photo. Very good dinner.

Sarlat is a wonderful town full of ancient charm. La Couleuvrine was warm and friendly with excellent food. It's location right next to the Cite Medievale makes it a great place to stay for those wishing to soak up the atmosphere! We had a 'standard' room which was well-furnished and comfortable. We'd have no hesitation in staying there again.

This is a very charming, well-located property with decent/comfortable, not luxurious rooms. We had a mid-range one on the 3rd floor and it had everything we needed for the price. We did have a yucky surprise with a late-night, real-time "porn show" in an adjoining room that went on for almost an hour but that isn't the hotel's fault (stone...

My wife and I loved our stay at the Hotel La Couleuvrine. The building is a bit of history, thoughtfully updated, but with the flavor of times past. Each room is very unique...a restorationist's dream! Centrally located on the edge of Old Town, this is the location where you will want to stay. Cold beer, great service, and delicious food....

Comfortable hotel with room overlooking place. Pleasant staff, good food dinner and breakfast. The main square of the old town is just 100m away. We'd certainly visit again and recommend it to others.
