Wonderful location! Charming host! Great value!!! Nice breakfast available. Free laundry. Reasonable rate for WiFi. We stayed in a quad room. Quads are usually pretty tight, but this was a spacious apartment with a separate bedroom and comfortable pull out sofa for the kids. The room and bathroom were very clean. The mattresses were acceptably comfortable. I would stay at...

We stayed in the Colbert room for three nights early in May. What a lovely room - bright, clean, comfortable, with top-quality fixtures and amenities! Our room was very quiet, with beautiful rooftop views. Access to the washing machines and dryers was an added, and very welcome, bonus. David is a wonderful host, giving us great ideas and directions to...

I am usually dubious about a hotel that gets consistently high ratings, but this time I totally agree with other reviewers. We stayed in the Colbert room and it was spacious, very nicely decorated, great bathroom, and architecturally pleasing. Our room had a separate entrance from the main part of the hotel which was shared with another room, and was...

Upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised with an upgrade to a suite... which was gigantic. High ceilings and moldings, fireplace, kitchen, spacious bathroom and an additional adjoining room (which we didn't use). Large windows and a terrace. The building was historic, peaceful and calm. Service was excellent. Very helpful staff. After an afternoon stroll around town and a lovely dinner...

Very nice hotel. David was very helpful in directing us to the cave for our appointed tour. I had google maps, but was still not exactly sure how to leave town. The room was comfortable. The electric trolley is a nice touch and kind of David to have it available. I did find that rolling luggage (we had only two...

This place is a gem and David is a multi-faceted diamond!! He is just SO helpful and nothing is too much trouble. There are only 5 taxis in Sarlat so you really have to plan in advance but David always managed to help us get from A to B. The rooms are lovely and have everything you could need. Central...

This is definitely one of the best hotels I have stayed in. The location is excellent, very central. The manager, David was an excellent host and did everything he could to ensure our comfort and ease in navigating around the area. It was wonderful to have someone who could speak and understand English easily. The entire hotel was absolutely spotless...

Stayed for 3 nights in the Richelieu apartment. Extremely spacious, well equipped, modern and comfortable. Separate kitchen/lounge, bedroom with small balcony overlooking the street, modern bathroom, and a private patio. The hotel is in the old quarter of Sarlat and has no on site parking. We rented a secure car parking space through the hotel. It was about a 10...

As all the other reviews say, this is in an excellent location. Amongst the old city, local restaurants in easy walking distance and good recommendations from them about what the options were and what was open. So to get that location it makes complete sense that arriving by car is difficult. However, we think that there could be some better...

Sarlat & Villa Des Consuls offer the best that southern France has to offer. Being a Medieval town there is so much to see in Sarlat that you could spend several days just there, but there is also an abundance of interesting adventures that are within 1 hours drive. Villa Des Consuls is located in a super location on the...
