The room has almost no light, no carpet, too cold, the breakfast is weak. In the bathroom not everything was working well. I felt that they simply don t care about us. they obviously have conditions to receive us better if they wanted to.

I stayed at Hôtel Le Dauphin for 2 nights in late August 2016 with my Mum. We had a twin room on the 3rd floor. It was quite cosy! but adequate for what we wanted with comfy beds, clean sheets etc. Bathroom could have done with a little bit of an update. Aircon worked well luckily as the outdoor temps... A beautiful building in superb location with very helpful staff but the family room (we were on level 5) was TINY and in the attic. Should definitely not be used as a family room barely room to stand up let alone open your suitcase. No lift to level 5 either. Disappointing as this experience encouraged us to leave Arcachon-we did... More

1. The hotel is incredibly nice from outise 2. The breakfast is very good, hams, cheeses, sweet pastries, fruits..for french standards almost perfect, maybe just few veggies would make the almost dissapear 3. The room was OK, bed too narrow and short, but I am big:) standard 2-3*, CLEAN 4. The pool is stadnard, but clean and very relaxing 5.... More

This hotel is situated about 15 minutes walk from the beach and restaurants. The rooms are fairly small, but clean and tidy.there is on site parking but not that many spaces, you can park in the street next to the hotel.

This was a perfectly nice hotel, very clean, nice condition, quiet, but it is a little old fashioned - the air conditioning didn't keep the room very cool at all, and the room itself was very small. It was a nice easy walk into the town centre which was very handy, and it worked fine for us as an overnight... More

I stayed here for several nights while attending a conference. Nice place, tiny room, not cheap, decent breakfast. I enjoyed the lone walk back through town each night. The housekeeping was good and clean. Close enough to the train station to walk.

A charming hotel, reception staff spoke adequate English and was very helpful regarding the Internet connection. But, oh dear we had the smallest bedroom imaginable - just as well we were only staying two nights. There appeared to be some sort of air conditioning system but it was not operating. Breakfasts were fine, served by very cheerful staff. Location ideal,... More

This hotel has not been refurbished for 20 years at least. Very small rooms. The heating was very hot and we couldn't adjust it- the room was very warm. The only positive is the quiet neighborhood and that it is within walking distance of the center.
