This was an awful experience and I would strongly advise people avoid this hotel. The lobby is delightful and gives false hope for the rest of the hotel. We were concerned when we exited the lift to be hit by an overpowering smell which can be best described as pee, probably animal pee. The carpet in the hallway was filthy... More

We opted for a sea view room, which was quite pricey. A lot more than we would normally pay for a room, but it was a special occasion so we splurged. We were not disappointed! The room was very comfortable, immaculate and the view from the terrace was to die for. We could not find anything to fault, it was... More

This Hotel did provide a perfect one night beach getaway from the hot streets of Bordeaux. Only an hour by train from Bordeaux. The Hotel staff were helpful and the Hotel is meticulously cleaned and maintained. Breakfast, as customary in France, was far too expensive. The room was expensive but the view was worth it (see photo). Recommend the market... More

If you believe in Basin d'Arcachon you can live nowhere else!! At the beach - at the tour ferries: simply perfect!! BUT: it is an older well used and somewhat worn down hotel - especially the bathroom(s). All very good - but some typical yet strange solutions to the room. Dare one say french?? But don't stay in the room... More

Breakfast is great, lots of choice and lovely staff. Reception staff are also very friendly and helpful. Room on the other hand needs decoration modernisation and most of all sound insulation between the rooms. You can hear the TV and phone conversations from your neighbours and also the people stomping around in the room above. Comfortable bed. Excellent view over... More

We stayed two nights at the hotel en route from northern Spain up to the Charante Maritime area of France. The hotel was very centrally placed with great views of the beach and pier. The room and bathroom were in need of a bit of a face lift but were very comfortable and the hotel staff spoke good English and... More

I read the reviews and was not disappointed. We wanted a sandy safe beach for our granddaughter and good seafood restaurants for us. The hotel was comfortable and so were the beds. The staff were friendly and helpful. We could park outside the door and walk to the beach in two minutes. Our terrace overlooked the sea, and our daughters... More
