In a word, FANTASTIC. The location is right in the heart of beautiful Riquewihr, steps from everything. It is easy to find if you follow the directions that come with your reservation confirmation. The apartments are spacious, updated, quiet and nicely appointed. The bathroom was nicer than most European hotels. Breakfast each morning was perfect. Martine was extremely nice and...

We had found this place on google and paid a 200euro deposit prior to our arrival to secure a room for our family of 4. Martine the lady boss ( I presume) asked via email a day before on our arrival time. I replied and inform her the estimated time as abt 12 noon. On the fateful day of our...

Riquewihr is a magical walking village with a wonderful main street on a hill surrounded by vineyards. If in Alsace, it is well worth a look! It is somewhat of a tourist attraction but at 6 pm the town settles and the locals come out to eat. We decided to stay one night at the La Cour De Nobles in...

Firstly the town of Riquewihr and surrounds is simply one of the most beautiful places ... and then arriving at La Cour Des Nobles and being greeted on time and shown up to the 'Hunawihr' suite, which could not have been more perfect for our family of 4. The 'pantry' of breakfast supplies and drinks was above and beyond our...

Stayed in the Bennwihr Suite for 2 nights recently and it was wonderful. Located in the very heart of this wonderful ancient city - with parking at the door - is actually part of the original "Remparts". Our host Martine could not have been nicer - but have your dictionary handy; no English! The apartment is self contained and provided...

This property has been restored by an architect and his wife into a number of comfortable apartments and rooms. The location is perfectly situated in the heart of Riquewihr, on the main street. Martine, the owner, greeted us warmly with a charming young woman who served as a translator. They carefully explained all necessary things about the apartment and then...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Martine and Denis Wendling welcome you in their 16th century residence in Riquewihr. Located in the east of the "Vosges", and in the heart of the Alsatian wine valley, this fortified village has managed to remain faithful to its patrimony throughout the years.Visitors have the possibility to discover the typical Alsatian medieval village surrounding la Cour des Nobles : Renaissance houses made of freestone, half -timbered bourgeois houses, towers, medieval enclosures and gates, cobblestones, stately buildings, museums and charming restaurants.Discover Riquewihr at its best by taking a stroll through its paved alleyways on a misty autumn morning, or at nightime, illuminated by the Christmas lights. ... more   less

“Make sure your luggage is not to heavy as the suites are located from one to three flights of stairs. The upper one appears to have a rope to help you climb the steep steps. No elevator, but they do have some ground floor units, I do not believe these are suites though.”
