Detailed Reviews
In January and February 2020, I hosted two Wellness retreats back to back at Taladya, 8 days each, with participants from the United States and Europe. Both groups gave Taladya a 10/10 rating. Everyone loved the location, and practicing yoga in such a peaceful and beautiful atmosphere. They found that Taladya and our excursions amplified the energy of our practice.
Everyone loved the rooms and their location by the swimming pool. Rooms are large, comfortable and beautifully decorated with authentic, local art.
Our hosts Nathalie and Patrick serve with their heart. They give attention to details such as for example welcoming us at the airport, having all the yoga props available, freshly pressed morning juice and exotic food presentation, just to name a few... They go above and beyond when needed -- such as when a participant fell and needed stitches and Patrick personally drove them to the modern and well serviced local hospital on several occasions.
You could not find a more welcoming, beautiful and authentic base from which to explore this region. I highly recommend Taladya, and hope to have the pleasure of hosting a retreat here again in the future.

I just returned from a yoga retreat with a group of girlfriends that was held at Taladya Homestay. Taladya is an extraordinary destination. There is beauty around every corner, very comfortable rooms, delicious food, friendly staff -- and the hosts, Patrick and Nathalie, who hale from France, but journeyed to Thailand for a more simple, art-filled life, are full of hospitality and knowledge of the region.

I have been at Taladya Home Stay for a yoga trip organised by Riflessyoga with daily yoga classes and excursions in Chiang Mai and sourrandings. Simply great, the owners, Natalie and Patrick, made our stay an exceptional experience which my buddies and I will never forget.
The location for yoga is like everybody dream about it: sounds of nature, peace and great attention to details, from mats, all accessories and pre-yoga juices early in the morning.
The rest of the structure is fantastic with the possibility to enjoy a pool, a big garden and the company of some nice cats during free time.
Also the excursions are top level, most of them to untouched places still to be discovered from the mass tourism.
Overall I highly recommend this structure, you really need to try the hospitality of such an amazing family and the beauty of their place.

Taladya is absolutely beautiful. Every corner of the property boasts green vegetation lining gorgeous traditional Thai-style buildings. You can not help, but feel instantly relaxed as soon as you step onto the property. It is completely peaceful; situated in the countryside among mountains and rice fields. While the atmosphere is everything you'd need, the best part of the homestay is the couple that runs it. Patrick and Natalie are some of the nicest people I have ever had the chance to meet. You'll have great conversations. They will go above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need. Whatever type of activities you like to do, they will help you find a way to do it. If you stay at Taladya, you will not be disappointed

From the get the stay at the resort was incredible. The logistics were sorted by our hosts, Nathalie and Patrick and all we had to do was take it all in. The resort was much grander than expected and more than you get from the photos.
With such a large property you might be left to wonder about cleanliness but that was never a problem. The property was cleaned daily by a very friendly and accommodating staff who were eager to help with any requests you might have had.
The trip itself was incredible. The hosts know Chiang Mai very well and it showed in every excursion we took day-after-day. We never ran into other tourists throughout any of our trips and that facilitated closeness with one another to create a more whole and complete experience that left us all in tears by the end, even the hosts :)
TLDR: beautiful, and clean resort with friendly staff and hosts that know very well what they're doing who provide exceptional meals and hospitality that doesn't feel like a financial exchange.

What an unforgettable experience at Taladya .
The hosts Patrick and Nathalie took care of all the details to make our Yoga retreat fun, effortless and to have excursions that were unique and very local with no other tourists around! We loved our time together experiencing not only the beautiful property which was clean comfortable and in traditional Thai style, but all the gens of the local market, celadon ceramics, chanting with monks and of course the joy of spending the day with. Karen tribe and their 2 domesticated elephants.
Can’t thank you enough for sharing your slice of Thailand!

Patrick and Nathalie were amazing hosts. Not only was the homestay comfortable and beautiful, but they hand picked an assortment of excursions for us while we were there. Each day we got to experience Chiang Mai culture in a way that felt private and free from tourists.
My room was very comfortable with a master bedroom, sitting area with wet bar and a large bathroom with an additional outdoor shower. Each day we were treated with fantastic meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner (except for when meals were part of our daily excursions).
By far, the highlight of my stay in Thailand, let alone Chiang Mai was our excursion to the elephant sanctuary where we got to hike and swim with two elephants. This was an amazing experience I will never forget, and the only reason I had that experience was thanks to Nathalie and Patrick.

The place truly captures their residence to provide a relaxing space. Their beautiful interior decoration is very eye-catching. I stayed here for a yoga retreat in Jan 2023 and it was SO much more than I ever could have expected -
We had activities planned for each day ranging from sightseeing, to taking a cooking class with a local farmer and chef, to visiting an elephant sanctuary.
The food and accommodations at the Homestay were top notch - home cooked vegetarian Thai food, a welcoming and friendly staff, beautiful rooms overlooking the pool - the list goes on.
Last but not least, what really sets Taladya Homestay apart are the hosts, Nathalie and Patrick. They lined up all the activities, showed us around town, and really made it feel like home for the week we stayed.

Natalie and Patrick were the most amazing hosts at theirTaladya Home Stay! They planned a carefully curated week of wonderful activities which I enjoyed thoroughly. The Thai food was amazing and abundant for every lunch and dinner. Natalie also served us a beautiful breakfast every day with crepes, fresh fruit, eggs, coffee & tea. I cannot rave enough about our experience there; the beautiful facility, the warmness of their hospitality, and their staff, the wonderful pool and amenities, perfect place to do yoga, etc. I loved every single day!!!! In particular our day with the elephants was one of the top experiences of my life! I will treasure all the memories of that trip!
