This place was absolutely breathtaking. My fiancée and I stayed in the treehouse and had so much fun discovering all the extra features like the rooftop bathtubs and retractable staircase! The entire property is gorgeously landscaped, with sweet little chimes and lanterns dispersed throughout thoughtfully placed greenery. It was a joy to explore— I took so many photos of flowers and vines I wanted to look up later! I was a bit concerned beforehand about the lack of ac, but after our trip I completely agree with the website. I had stayed in Manila and Coron with my fiancée and his family for a couple weeks before this trip and found the heat and humidity difficult to adjust to there, but the weather here was mild and I was never uncomfortable (and neither was he). The chimes and bug calls and even distant rooster crows I could hear from the balcony of our room were relaxing and I’m glad they weren’t drowned out. The staff was also very attentive and clearly ready to help us in any way we might have asked. Overall, we had an amazing quick getaway here. We felt safely tucked away from all our stress on this property, but between the reliable WiFi, heated pool, fireside areas, game options, and room to roam, we were never bored. I’m so glad we decided to get in touch with the manager when we heard about the recent Taal activity instead of canceling our booking right away. He wasn’t exaggerating when he told us that Pintoresco wasn’t affected by the ash fall. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to recharge and I’m hoping to make it back here myself someday.

This place is just beautiful. Spent 3 days here during our wedding weekend and went back a year later to reminisce. The staff are very hospitable and accommodating. This place is just so clean and grand. Maintened very well and the owners know how to add the little details to the enhance experience.

We had our intimate wedding in Pintoresco during the pandemic. Since our family's safety is a top priority, we had to ensure we housed 30 of our family members in one place w/o having to sacrifice their comfort. Our mandatories: The place must be spacious, cozy, and of course, aesthetic. :) Glad we found Pintoresco, we had the place all to ourselves and was able to tick all the venue requirements we had! Although at first I was worried of the limited AC in some of the houses. But since we had our wedding in November, the weather was most of the time cool and breezy, so the lack of air-conditioning in most of the rooms wasn't an issue at all, and having the whole place enveloped and swarmed w/ plants also helped. It's such a beautiful venue for a wedding. All the guests were very complimentary of the place. But what I loved most about this Pintoresco is their staff; they were very accommodating and devoted to making our special day perfect.

This is not your typical hotel. It's got a very homey feel in a large estate. It's Ideal for groups of friends traveling together, with a large house that offers dorm-style facilities. My husband and I stayed in the treehouse suite, which was a special, wonderfully intimate facility with an open-air bathing facility! Pintoresco also has a lovely, outdoors heated pool, ideal for night swimming! The sprawling landscaped grounds offer nice, contemplative morning or sunset walks. Overall it was a great, serene break from our stressful grind!

We booked Pintoresco as our Preparation Venue for our wedding and I just have to say that this place is very beautiful!! Everywhere you look is picturesque, the design of interior and exterior suits our wedding theme so much, if only we knew this beforehand we would have booked the place as our whole wedding venue (ceremony and reception). I just found out about this while browsing on google, went ahead for ocular and my hunch was right. It was perfect. The staff were very kind, the communications with them were clear. The food (optional if you want to order for lunch, dinner or merienda) tasted good as well. My family loved the amenities specially the heated pool. Early morning of my wedding day they are still enjoying the amenities when they should actually be preparing! It was that irresistable! The place is quiet and relaxing. One overnight is not enough for everything this place offers. We can't wait to go back.

We went there for a family getaway, and it is raining yet our experience was still and very remarkable. The staffs are all very kind and accommodating, special mention to Ms Angel and the Manager Ms Emmy, thankyou for giving the best customer service, and all our special requests were granted. We loved the beautiful Pintoresco, the ambience is very nice. We loved the tree house, bunkhouse were our family stayed in. and also the amenities like the heated pool that the kids and even adult family members really enjoyed playing at. We also enjoyed the games in the playroom. We rate this ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️, the bed and pillows were very soft and fluffy, and i can say we had one of a kind luxurious experience. hope to see u again soon. Thankyou from our family to Pintoresco!

Stayed here for a company outing, and the staff were sooooo accommodating. They ask from time to time if we're doing okay, if we're not happy with the food they have served, etc. They made sure we're comfortable enough. Although it was hard to look for the place, it was dark on the way (very remote) and the gate doesn't have a name, the whole resort was breathtaking. From the rooms, the amenities, and the nature itself. I just wish there were more rooms for the next time we decide to stay there.

Online photos look great, but the actual place is perfect! I actually did an ocular with my whole family and fell in love with it at first sight. I was then looking for a place where I could bring our whole office for a working/outing week end - 45 people total. Pintoresco provided the ideal venue: A huge soccer field, the heated pool, a huge gym, a beautiful tree house.

The staff were all friendly and very helpful. That week end was totally rewarding and memorable. I've gone back to the place twice and has since recommended it to all my friends.

My friends stayed here for a night and we have the best night ever. The place is perfect if you want to stay away from the busy streets of Manila. The rooms are clean and so as field. The fireplace is perfect for chill nights and the pool is heated. I would definitely come back with my family.

Our weekend at Pintoresco was a fun experience for the family, because we love our family and whatever the accommodations are, we will have fun anyway.
We were a whole family of total about 28 people, our helpers included.

A Little Overrated - I think, this best describes to have a venue at Pintoresco.

When you go to their website you will see gallery of their beautiful photos. No, they do not look like that anymore when you go to the venue.
In the photos, the place looks inviting and clean.
In actuality though, the place is a little "messy".

The Main White House is covered with plants and leaves. I do not know how the owners see this as charming... Because of these traveling plants, many bugs and ants easily get inside the house and its rooms.
The place deteriorates easily also because of these plants attached to the house. When you look close, the walls and anywhere the plants attach to, are brown and discolored. The place looks old.

We spent three days and two nights (the place is expensive to rent, by the way), and by the second day, I already saw and "felt" some ants and bugs crawling on our beds...

What is worse, you cannot have a peaceful night's sleep because just beside the main house (a few steps away only) is another lot owner's property, with lots of chickens and fighting cocks!
By 5:30am they start to make noise and cock-a-doodle-do in unison and with much gusto. I could hear maybe at least a dozen of them.
I am an early riser so I really wake up at 6:00am. But the point of coming to have a vacation is to take a break, so ideally I wanted to wake up later than 6am, but the neighboring noisy chickens and roosters will not let me.

The landscape also does not look that well maintained as in the photos. Many plants, grass and trees growing out of bounds. They need to have these trimmed often to maintain the clean look.

Now let us go to what I liked about the place:

First is the swimming pool.
Although you will see area is old, with the faded tiles and surroundings, the pool is big, water is clean. It has an area of heated water (the best!) 2 to three feet deep for the kids; and area of cold water of 8 feet deep where you can do your laps.
The pool's tiles are well thought off. When you swim, you will be guided by arrows on the tiles and you know you are going deeper.

Second is the Auxiliary Kitchen where we did all our cooking. It is equipped and complete. You will feel comfortable cooking. Pintoresco does not have restaurants or room service, so we need to cook our meals on our own and bring our own food.
Oven, stove, pots and pans.
Although I still brought all we need, just in case there is anything lacking there.
The downside is, it is about 5 to 10 minutes walking distance from the main house, where we eat our meals.
Be sure to bring lots of drivers and helpers when you come here, to help with the domestic stuff.

Third is the game room.
They have ping pong tables, and table games. It is a nice place for the family to play and bond. It is also the place where we ate our meals. Comfortable area.

Fourth is the little room at the third floor of the main house where you can play some board games and chat/bond with family. It was cozy.

Fifth is the open grass area where you can play soccer or just run around for some fun. Great area to take photos as well. Green and you have a feel like you are with nature. Bring your DSLR camera and tripod. Take photos and record videos. Make memories.

Sixth, the beds, pillows, blankets, towels. Oh they were comfortable and smelled fresh. This is hugely important to me. I love that the owners made sure these are well taken cared of.

Seventh, they have excellent internet connection. Plus pogi points for this, because cellular signal is bad due to location.
Even so, a good internet connection compensates for it.

Eighth and finally, I like the caretaker staff. They were kind, accommodating, helpful. You can never go wrong with good people listening and attending to your small requests.

So would I recommend Pintoresco as a destination for family and friends' get together away from the city?
Oh yes I still would, but just take note it is expensive (overpriced in my opinion) and the place is not new.

In the end, what matters is the company you take with you. If everyone is game and having fun, the place where you are comes in secondary.
