This residence has changed into naturist resort Oriental Beach Village. A review can be found in a week or so under that name. The new owner is the Frenchman Paolo who is also the owner of the naturist resort Oriental Village near Chang Mai.

We stayed in a villa four nights Very large and airconditioned , and lots of space. Friendly staff. Unfortunately the breakfast is small and come in three boring options.. No buffe option. This is not a hotel but a residence run by friendly russians. The beautyful remote beach on this island is full of bugs and the sandflies are agressive. We were not prepared and went on the beach uncovered at sun rise and sun set. This place is popular for families with kids and also they have basic wheel chair acess.

We stayed at the resort for 6 nights in one of the apartments. The location is wonderful if you like a little bit of calmness and the resort is located next to the beach. The room/apartment was spacious and bright, however it does lack that "Thai touch". At the first glance it looks new and fresh but when you start looking around you will find all sorts of flaws. Breakfast was included, if not you can pay 130 Baht for it. You get to choose 1 of 3 items from a breakfast menu. Scrambled eggs, eggs and bacon (ham because they were out of bacon all week) or porridge. With this you get 2 toast, 1 package of butter, 2 packages of marmalade. You also get water and instant coffee/tea. The breakfast staff is very friendly and you get to eat a late breakfast if you like. It's not much to do at the hotel but they have a good gym and a yoga hall. It's not the best place for smaller children. The waves are quite large and the water is "sandy". The Wi-Fi is working extremely bad, some days you get no signal at all. We tried the restaurant at the hotel one night. The food was nice but it took us 20 minutes to get our drinks and then another 40 minutes to get our food. We payed about 3000 Baht/night for our stay. For this price the standard was acceptable but we would not return to this hotel.

We were a group of 17 that were moved here as a double booking from elsewhere on the island. We had come to celebrate a set of birthdays And on reading the few old reviews we were concerned as to what me might letting ourselves in for. As it happened from our arrival Sergio and Ben went out of their way to makes things great for us and we had a ball. What a place - a wooden floored open sided yoga studio facing out onto the ocean - with a deep pool behind it and bar off to one side. The rooms are vast cool and built as apartments so not feel like hotel rooms - it does feel strange as its not a hotel but if you are looking for a place to take a group Nd be together Ocean Breeze is highly recommended. We had a small sound system supplied at no extra cost and Sergio and Ben even bought a surprise birthday cake for us. but otherwise left is to dance and laugh the night away As with life; it is what you make it and you can certainly have a damn nice time here if you don't fixate on details that you may expect from a very expensive resort. Take coffee with you if you want good coffee etc. Get this place for a low price and you can enjoy yourselves.

+ quiet, private beach. Big house. Friendly staff. Relaxing place. - Need to be cleaned properly. Fix the ceiling where the water drops(it wasn't raining;). And air con is noisy. Small water ponds are behind the residence so full of nasty mosquitos. WiFi super slow.
