Never stayed before but over 30+ years have visited for lunch. New owners for about 18 months and what a great job they are doing. The food is delicious and 100% home cooking and wholesome. The room we had was great, very large, super clean and comfortable, we were so very happy to stay and should we visit Slovenia again we will definitely do so. A bit of a journey though from Australia!! Apart from the church bells the area is really peaceful, the bells are lovely though. Breakfast was great too, again home cooking and lovely fresh fruit straight from the tree. A lovely area too to sit outside for coffee or a wine.

The hosts were very fiendly. The rooms and the bathroom were clean, the beds were comfy, the rooms had venetian blinds so we could sleep easily, aside from the infiltrated noise of the vehicles and the persistent church bell. The breakfast was simple but fine: jams, excellent slices of hams, block of processed cheese, local yoghurt, tasty sweet cookies, cereals (i missed the vegetables a bit).

Very good food. You must visit it. You can sleep there, eat and you have only a few km to beautiful destinations wich are recomended to visit. On winter you can skiing in Črni vrh. The stuf in Metka is very good.

Our room was very comfortable, clean and quite. We stayed five nights and slept very well. The bathroom facilities are first class. The breakfast is very nice and the table settings are very attractive. If you can, you should also eat meals because the cook is absolutely fantastic. If you are lucky, the owner will bring out his accordion and sing for you. The wifi worked better than any other Hotel i have stayed. I will stay at Metka when I return to Crni Vrh.

An old post coach stop, located on the regional road through Črni vrh, well-kept and maintained with very helpful and friendly staff!
