Had lunch here with my husband and our 14 month old. Lunch was fantastic with a great variety. I had the salmon and my husband has the steak. A bit spesh for a pub meal. Well worth passing Beechworth to come to. Cant wait to come back! 5 stars

This is our second visit here. While the service equates to pub service the food excels. Restaurant quality food and a great wine list. The quiet surrounds and beer garden adds a tranquil feel to the experience. All the dishes are worthy of accomplished chefs though the menu is not pretentious. I'll be back.

Wonderful - a hotel that only has local produce on their menu with a card explaining all sources of produce served - brilliant! A rustic, vintage with character appearance complimented inside with warm decor, huge windows with a deck and views of the country side. Only one bubbly smiling waitress serving who knew the menu, specials and where the food...

We made a special trip from Beechworth to have dinner, after reading all the good reviews, but we were a little underwhelmed. Typical pub food, nothing more. Friendly and welcoming service, but I wouldn't be going out of my way to visit again.

Dinner at the Stanley Pub was worth the detour from Beechworth. Great choices with a focal on local produce - lamb, apples, berries... options for kids, local wines, relaxing and great hospitality. Shall return in summer to dine outside. Kids left no doubt the croissant based bread and butter pudding with coffee anglaise was great - plate cleaned. The apple...

We stopped here for lunch. It was booked out but we were lucky to get a table. The food was good plentiful pub grub. Huge steaks and everything very tasty. Nice ambience and worth the 9km trip from Beechworth, albeit we had been up the nearby Mt Stanley..what a view.

Went to the Stanley Hotel after hearing from others how great it was and came away wondering what they were talking about. The place itself is nothing out of the ordinary with the dining area being a room tacked on to the original building. It was a wet miserable day and it certainly didn't have a warm cosy atmosphere. Regarding...

Had lunch in a group of 5 people on a Thursday. Very welcoming and a nice setting. Meals were excellent. We all had a main course. Two of us had New York Sirloin steak, with garlic butter, cauliflower gratin topped with parmesan and broccolini. Two had crispy skinned salmon and one had a chorizo and mushroom tart. Everyone was very...

I met with family for a birthday lunch and was surprised at the range of dishes on offer, the number of guests and the setting. The meals for our party arrived in good time and represented good value. The birthday greeting with chocolate sauce beside the dessert was a nice touch.

The Stanley Pub is a gorgeous little building in an idyllic orchard town. We've eaten here before and really enjoyed the hearty food and wine. This time, however, the lamb burger was incredibly acidic - one bite and you could see a hell of a lot of mustard seeds, and then the bun was spread with aioli and lots and...
