We stayed 2 nights fm 28 September 2023. The place was fantastic! The room was clean and well maintained. The surrounding landscape (flowers, plants, Lily ponds, paddy fields) were well maintained too. Loved the view of mountains and paddy fields around us. As it was lull period when we were there, we enjoyed the serenity and the peaceful retreat. The restaurant catered to our complete breakfast and dinners. The Owner/GM, Ms Mindy, was very kind and offered many assistances while we were there. An Elephant Care Camp, Tiger Kingdom and the famous Wat Ban Den is near the Resort. We were very pleased with the stay. Only with the exception that the restaurant staff were not able to communicate in English.

Ostentatious, and obnoxious. The worst place in the area. They run paragliding tours that are SO noisy so don’t expect to have any peace and quiet…and they start them around 6am so good luck with that. Not to mention what those engines do to the environment. Its an expensive place with very little to offer in authentic value.

This a beautiful hotel. The location is wonderful and the view is great. Ann and Mai were so amazing at check in. The site did not say this, but if you try to check in early, they can charge you 500 baht an hour. The internet is good. The room was pretty clean. They are remodeling the restaurant, so food is very limited. The bed in the the room was so hard it made my hips hurt. Through out the the night I woke up because my hips hurt. I will not come back here.

Very beautiful and green rice field at Phusanfah resort in rainy season, especially the villa near by the rice field. Private room is very clean, comfortable and green view bath room. Service very excellence food and break fast is okay. Around that area, there are 2 temples that must be visit.

Thailand, particularly in the North, is littered with 'resorts' that throw a few rooms in the middle of spectacular view and expect things to take care of themselves. A drive around the area and you'll see plenty of these derelict and abandoned. PhuSanFah could end up this way: it lacks heart and the attention to detail that you would expect for the prices its charges. It sets its stall out as you arrive after following signs every kilometre counting down to your arrival: you are greeted by an tacky Singha Beer illuminated sign and the owner's Benz in its showy housing in the concreted carpark. The resort itself is poorly laid out and has an incoherent style - grass huts, Thai-style villas, English gardens, Marvel superhero figures (!) and obligatory Thai-resort selfie opportunity props. We booked the 2 bedroom cottage which is disappointingly placed in the owner's compound across the road from the rest of the resort...and the view, without which there is little point in staying here. The management offered us 2 of the newer rooms which we took for the view but these were not adjoined and each up a flight of stair which was inconvenient with 2 small children. The rooms were spacious but like the rest of the resort had irritating problems (no hot water in one and hidden away towels). Not a disaster but at these prices... Breakfast is generous and quite tasty but the staff are a little disorganised and charging for non-instant coffee is penny-pinching. Fortunately we had our own car as this is a good 60-80mins outside of town. B1500 for a minibus is a considerable expense if you didn't have your own transport. Overall, there are no shortage of stunning views in this part of the world and there are similarly priced 5* resorts in Chiang Mai. This place need to do better to really be considered a worthwhile alternative to the choices that exist out there.

We loved our stay in Phusanfah Resort for many reasons. The hotel is beautiful and in the classical thai style. The rooms are very nicely decorated and very comfortable ( we loved the bathroom with jacuzzi!) It is located in a paradisiac place in the middle of the rice fields... such a wonderfull view!! And lot of things to see near the hotel ( a wonderfull temple, waterfalls...) The staff of the hotel is very nice, and do everything to make your stay unforgettable. We were with our kids and they maked everything to help us having a good trip ( help to find taxi, to know what to do, to have a great room with 3 kids..) We will never forget our stay and hope to return very soon

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 3 nights during our visit to Chiang Mai. The hotel is about 45min drive from the airport, away from all the business. It is surrounded by rice fields which gives it such a peaceful vibe. We were upgraded on arrival which was a nice touch and the view from our room was incredible we were overlooking the rice fields with the mountains in the distance. The hotel has bikes that you can use free of charge, we used these to cycle to the nearby temple Wat Ban Den which was really amazing, must see! You could spend hours here looking at all the work, probably a good idea to go in the morning as there is buses of tourists arriving throughout the afternoon. We ate at the hotel restaurant every day as the the food here is absolutely amazing, some of the best food we tried during our month visit to Thailand. The staff here are lovely as well the Manageress Mandy was very helpful and kind, thanks again for everything Mandy we really loved our stay here and plan to return in the future.

Best view in Chiangmai. The paddy field and mountain scenery is so amazing. The place is little far from town but make it all the more quiet and relaxing. Perfect for a carefree weekend. Staff said the field will turn gold during June and October. Will surely come back again to see it.

Phusanfah Resort was the first stop on our trip around Thailand! The resort was beautiful. We spent hours exploring the resort and enjoyed viewing the silks, wood carvings, and breathtaking landscapes. The staff was incredible and helped us plan excursion around the area - including elephants, tigers, temples, and the long neck villages! The restaurant on site is a must as well! Everyday we had fresh fruit and a variety of traditional dishes. We will be back soon! :)
