They have a wonderful staff who went out of the way to accommodate our group of 4 golfers. We all had large rooms and we all loved the breakfast. It was easy to find and close to the Cruden Bay Golf Club. I cannot say enough good things about the staff and the beautiful rooms.

Just finished a three day stay at the Kilmarnock Arms with 7 friends. The service and attentiveness of the staff was exceptional. As a frequent business traveler, I've visited many world class hotels and I would match the experience here against the best of them. Very charming country hotel with great character. Its a great small town place to stay.

We spent 2 nights at this lovely hotel. Everything was excellent - very friendly staff, superb food, beautiful room and close to a stunning beach. They coped very well with my food allergies and the log burner and sofas in the hotel entrance make for a very cosy retreat, especially after dinner.

Stopped in for lunch on a cold day after a walk to Slains castle. Friendly waitress quickly had us seated near log burner 4 adults and two kids 13 and 10. Only had main courses 2 cheeseburgers/2 fish/1 chicken strips and 1 sausage and chips. All the food was fresh and hot and the portions were quite large. This was...

Usually quite quiet and food is good. Dogs are aloud in the pub. The rooms and food are a bit to expensive, but cruden bay is gorgeous, give it a google. Love the old photos and beam stoker entry on walls

The hotel has onsite parking although a little tight. The reception area has a warm welcoming feel to it, with comfortable seating and a roaring log burner that is on all day. A member of staff quickly and efficiently booked us in, with a pre-printed form, no cards to fill in. Our room appeared to have been refurbished quite recently....

First visit to Kilmarnock Arms for 3 years My wife and I had Broth and a prawn sandwich We found the soup thick and undercooked while the sandwich had been made with thick hard old bread Also the table next to us returned their food to the kitchen Overall a poor experience and we will not be returning

Can't beat the killie for lunch on a winters day, in front of the fire, out on your bike or after a walk to Slains castle. I scrapped in at 2 o'clock before kitchens closed and staff very accommodating. Not too many jokes about my ridiculous cycling garb and need for iPhone charger. Only complaint I ever have is not...

Myself and my husband had a starter and a main course each and everything was beautiful. My main course, halloumi skewers, was possibly the nicest vegetarian meal I have ever eaten. Please keep it on the menu! Great service also, lovely waitresses.
