Very pleasant owner, helpful and speaks good English. The room was plenty big enough and had a good shower. Situated in a lovely little town. Free Wifi. Unfortunately, that's where the good points end. We are not "fussy" types-used to roughing it, but this stay was disappointing. The hotel is VERY tired, and in need of a complete refurbishment really....

This time we had a nicely decorated & furnished room & were made very welcome by a very friendly owner. The food was again good, particularly the buffet & breakfast. Can recommend as a good stop-over hotel.

The hotel is a little tired but clean. The owner friendly & welcoming. Excellent buffet starters & desserts & simple main course. Good breakfast. Evening meal excellent value for money. Would be happy to put up with the rooms for the value of the food.

Whilst the rooms are a little tired, the charm of this hotel more than makes up for it. The restaurant is first rate with brilliant salad starter buffet and authentic home cooking for main meals....

The host was very welcoming though...

The English speaking host was friendly and welcoming and the restaurant very pretty and nicely furnished. The restaurant, however only really opened for lunch and we were only offered dinner on our first night., which was good. Fine if you're only staying one night, but not, as we were, for four. Especially since the only other places to eat were...
