This was the best spot for our stay in the beautiful hill town of Volterra! Albergo Etruria Hotel (with 22 cozy rooms) is on Via Matteotti in the heart of town. The room was clean, with wifi, private bath and a nice breakfast. Best of all was the how welcoming and friendly Paola, Daniel and Andrea were to us ~...

A really nice hotel in the heart of Volterra. Family run, friendly, clean and quaint. The morning breakfast is nice too. The terrace is nice too but on a sunny day. A lovely place to stay in a small town as close by to all sites. Recommended.

We arrived by driving but our GPS was a bit old so we were directed to just a side street not that close to the hotel. We parked and found our way to hotel. The owner was so helpful, showed us on a map where to take our car to unload our luggage and then where to park for free....

I simply loved this hotel. I can't fault it. We received a beatiful welcome, help with luggage, a hearty varied breakfast, and all right in the heart of town. There's no old crumbling down bits, its all beautifuly restored but has lovely old character complete with windy charming corridors that take you to the terrace. Oh! The terrace, what a...

Such a friendly welcoming hotel. We arrived by bicycle and were immediately helped to store them carefully by the very friendly manager. Lovely rooms and breakfast and the real bonus of a garden with a bar to enjoy the evening sun. Recommend this hotel.

This hotel is just wonderful in every way! Perfect location, quiet clean and spacious rooms, grand breakfast included and welcoming helpful staff and owners. Price is very fair and a secluded peaceful rooftop garden and an interior communal space makes this a great find. Stay a few days!

This was a satisfactory hotel in all respects. It is quite centrally located, they took our luggage to our room, and the room itself had all the amenities we would expect for the price. The roof terrace is especially fine.

Daniele, Paola and Andea conduct business in a professional, friendly and helpful manner. The hotel has been uniquely decorated with lovely artwork and an artistic touch. The delicious breakfast featured many homemade items by Paola and her mother. The family and all the staff made us feel welcome with a gentle and graceful style that is pure Italia. Bravo e...

We stopped in Volterra for a one night stay and always like to be in the city center. This Hotel is very old but that is the charm. The rooms are tight but nice. No air conditioning but it was a great evening and it was very comfortable. Right within walking distance of everything. If you are a big person...
