I booked a room here a few hours before check-in after we encountered an unexpected issue at a different b&b in Vieste. We booked without realising this was a true B&B as opposed to a hotel with a reception, meaning our arrival time had to be coordinated in advance. In spite of this, the lovely and cordial owner still assisted us with our last-minute check-in, even changing her plans for the day to help us. Upon entering the building and climbing the beautiful staircase up to the hotel, we were taken with the beautiful architecture and design of the space. Our room was even more of a pleasant surprise, with unique tile flooring and a romantic 4-poster bed, a thoughtful layout, and good lighting. The rooftop of this B&B is very special and is a great place to see the Vieste sunset. Breakfast -- free, delicious, and substantial -- is served across the street at the Restaurant Al Dragone. We loved our stay and would be very happy to return in the future.

The B&B "Dimora del Dragone" in Via del Duomo is a perfect accommodation for a stay in Vieste in a gorgeous historical location in the old city with easy access to town's center, shops and beaches (walking distances). Signora Rosa is a great hostess, very accommodating, attentive and helpful. Born and grown up in Australia, she skillfully transformed together with her husband an old family home into an amazing B&B. I had a large quiet room, very well equipped, free connection with wlan. minibar, air conditioning, electric kettle, cups, coffee and tea bags. Facilities were just excellent and everthing was impeccably clean. Breakfast is served in the cave restaurant of the owners just next to the B&B. I was asked if I preferred salted or sweet breakfast (the usual Apulian breakfast) besides fresh fruits and delicious home made Apulian cakes, baked by the owner. Cooked eggs on the spot were served every morning. After my last breakfast, the owner assured that I have something to eat on the road after leaving Vieste and invited me to help myself from the buffet, a generous gesture, which I highly appreciated. I spend two nights in this highly comfortable and modern B&B with its rare old architectural details. The outstanding building as well as the breakfast show the exquisite taste of the owners. Definitely recommended to visitors.

If I could give this B&B 10 stars, I would. We stayed here in the terrace suite over Easter Weekend. Absolutely stupendous! Splurge on the terrace suite - it is more than worth it. We were on the top floor with beautiful unobstructed views to the Vieste harbor and City, and the Duomo behind us with a large private outdoor terrace. The B&B was renovated and set up in 2014 so everything is modern. Great bed, great shower. Perfect accoutrements. The breakfast was awesome - wonderful breads and pastries and eggs to order from Anna. We originally were scheduled for 2 nights and extended our stay because the room was so special and the city of Vieste such a wonderful find.

My wife and I stayed three nights at the B&B Dimora al Dragone in the historic centre of Vieste. We selected the suite with terrace, further to a previous advice of a customer on TripAdvisor. This was the best decision of our trip since the private terrace was so huge with an amazing view on the sea and the town of Vieste. The room was very comfortable and equipped with modern furniture. Large windows provided a view on the sunny terrace and were equipped with opaque curtains for the night. The B&B being located in the historic centre where no cars (except for locals) are allowed, the quietness was perfect. The breakfast was served in the restaurant in face of the B&B and was generous and tasteful. We ate twice at the restaurant (for lunch and dinner) and we were very pleased by the high-quality level and freshness of the food. The value for money was excellent. The owners were really nice and helpful with us. We felt like being at home. I strongly recommend the B&B Dimora Al Dragone.

We stayed one night, in a room overlooking the town. Great location and a beautiful room, modern, clean and comfortable. Easy access to the old part of Vieste, where it is very enjoyable to go for a walk and get back in time! A generous breakfast is served, with Rosa offering to cook eggs and ham for you. Interestingly, the breakfast room is in the restaurant belonging to the B&B owner, digged in the rock, creating quite a nice atmosphere. Rosa was very helpful as well to explain beforehand how to get to the B&B as Vieste streets can be tricky! Then it was easy. A place to come back!

We stayed here for 3 nights at the beginning of October and wished we'd been able to stay longer. Our room was stylish and elegant, but also comfortable and welcoming. A huge bed, a fabulous shower, a great view from the balcony and a brilliant location next to the duomo. Breakfasts were fabulous, nothing was too much trouble and there was wonderful homemade chocolate cake! We couldn't have asked for more, especially as our hostess was utterly charming and helpful.

An amazing B&B, beautiful room exceptionally clean and spacious. The attention to detail is brilliant, there is a roof terrace that you can relax on and get wonderful views. The breakfast across the road in their main restaurant, which in itself is a must to have a meal later, is brilliant. One cannot find fault with any of the service, the owners and staff are very attentive and generous with their time. We were sad to leave. A big thank you to all.

Booked the rooftop room with the terrace overlooking the town and sea and it is definitely worth the premium. Rosa morning is a charming host and most helpful in planning day trips to various beaches or into the adjoining national park. We loved the venue. It’s perfectly located in the old town to enjoy the local colour and the terrace is a wonderful oasis of privacy after the beach. We will be back!

The location is great : in the centre of the old town. Rosa is a great hostess: very friendly and hospitality is her device. She knows where to have lunch or dinner if you choose not to dine in her restaurant where breakfast is served We had room nr 1, which is probably the smallest room - no view or balcony - but beautiful designed as is the rest of the B&B. Breakfast is served in the restaurant opposite with lots of home made pastries. Rosa has a special deal with Antonio who runs a privat parking uphill near the castle, only a few minutes walking from the B&B : You can park your car there for 5 euro's a day. Make sure in advance how to get there.

We stayed 3 nights at Dimora Del Dragone. It's in a great location across from the duomo staircases. Climbing the entrance with loaded suitcases can be challenging but otherwise the rooms were modern & very comfortable. Rosa, the hostess, is Very friendly & eager to please. Several good restaurants are located nearby. Parking is available within an easy walk.
