My wife and i celebrated our 10 year anniversary and my 50th B-day with our first trip to Puglia, and had an amazing time at Canne Bianche. From the minute you pull into this quaint resort, you feel at home. The interior decorating is simple, rustic yet elegant. The grounds mirror that style. Even the staff's linen apparel just oozes welcoming comfort. The service is top notch and every member there makes you feel like family. Special shout out some of the good friends we made there -Matteo, Anna, Manuela, Fabio, Marco, Rosella, Vito, Lucio (only to name a few).. Yes, we remember their names bc they felt more like family than our hosts. Every need is met quickly and efficiently, but more importantly with a warm smile making you feel like you aren't just a client, but a guest in their home. The facilities are tremendous from the spa facilities, the rooms, to the pool. No problem getting access to cabana/daybeds every day. Pool is fantastic and clean. The Adriatic Sea is just a few meters out back and the water is warm, turquoise with powder sand beach -we were in it every day. Both restaurants are great, and breakfast is killer. The premier restaurant Autentico has Michelin recognition and it lived up to hype. In fact, despite the many food options in the 5-10 km vicinity, we stayed in 6/10 nights bc of how good and fresh the food and service was. In fact, you will see the catch of the day still alive and flipping for your selection when you enter the restaurant. Can't get fresher than that. Excellent wine list. We are discerning travelers and foodies, and put a premium on high quality food and execution, and it did not disappoint any night we ate there. Overall, can't say enough good things about Canne Blanche. Top notch and we will return. One MINOR drawback- some nights you may get a little nibbled by some pesky zanzare, but a little bug spray on the legs which the front desk can provide resolves that issue and is absolutely NOTHING to diminish or deter the experience here. If you want to go out and not rent a car, the staff will happily arrange transportation if you need. A car rental is good options and will save you some cash, however, if you, like me, are a fan of a fat Negroni and some vino with lunch/dinner, stick with getting a ride arranged for you. Ask them to hook you up with Giuseppe who is a local transport provider there and one hell of a nice guy. Also, the hotel is a decent spring board location to do day trips or nights out in local towns to visit like Cisternino, Alberobello, Ostuni, Polignano di Mare, etc. We look forward to our next stay at the CB!

If a resort could ever be considered perfect it would be Canne Blanche. This is an elegant but unpretentious place. All of the staff are professional and polite but also very warm, helpful and welcoming. Attention is paid to every imaginable detail but executed subtly. The facility is pristine and in a beautiful setting. The food is amazing and the menu quite extensive. There is a good range of price points for dinner. Their pizza is spectacular. The only problem with breakfast is there are too many wonderful choices and too little time to try them all. Everything is freshly prepared and delicious. Towels are changed in the evening as well as the morning and when you finally turn in for the night you will find cookies in your room. I can't find any other words to describe the experience other than to say it was relaxing and idyllic and I would go back in a heart beat.

We found this hotel absolutely wonderful for many reasons: first and foremost, the staff! Everyone was friendly and helpful and there seemed to be enough staff to cover all the guests’ needs. The room was delightful, very clean, comfortable bed and special touches in the evening ( freshly made Italian pastries). There were 2 room cleaning services a day - very helpful when all the bathroom towels have been used on showers after a day at the pool. The pool area is large and there are always enough chairs for all the guests. The poolside drink service was excellent. The breakfast was buffet style with a large selection of fruit, cheese, pastries etc. A chef was available to provide hot food if requested. The evening meal in the large dining room was very enjoyable with the sommelier providing information about local wines etc. The menu was varied and had several different meal suggestions, fish, meat and pasta. The decor of the hotel is amazing! Everywhere you look there is something interesting to look at and somewhere comfortable to sit. Loved the holiday relaxed feeling the hotel gave us! Lastly, a perk for us was a lesson given by the chef to a group of us. We were taught how to make focaccia- it was fun and we all were invited to partake of some wine afterwards while eating the fruits of our labour. A wonderful hotel and we hope to go back again.

Incredible. This hotel is unbelievable. The staff were so friendly welcoming you back every evening and every morning with a smile. The breakfast was superb with local ingredients and eggs made to order. The rooms were spotless and cleaned twice a day and the little touch of leaving out your slippers at turndown to the little treats left in your room in the evening. We ate in the restaurant 2 evenings and it was delicious. The pool area is beautiful and the staff there were also amazing. We stayed a week and will defonitley go back again next year. puro lusso

We were absolutely delighted with this magical hotel. All the rooms are wonderfully well thought out and harmoniously designed in the typical white and sand tones of the region. Firstly I’d like to point out that I don’t like writing negative reviews but this place was the biggest disappointment during our whole family trip.
I’ve stayed in numerous hotels throughout my life, having grown up in the hotel industry myself and this hotel by far the most disheartening in terms of service or lack there of against value for money.
Only a very few members of staff were friendly (and I mean less than a handful), the rest needed to be trained up in terms of hospitality. The female sommelier clearly did not want to be working as that was evident in her manners and a lot of the times we had to wave to be served! Unfortunately on the first night there was a power cut in the area which happened 3 times. I completely understand that these things happen and are out of the hotel’s control, however our air conditioning unit was not reset so didn’t turn back on thus I had to call reception in the middle of the night. My brother’s room had the same issue and an engineer was sent to their room at 3.30am. The following morning nothing was said or addressed. Now if you’re considered being part of the network of Small Luxury Hotels of The World, one would expect at least the bare minimum of a letter from Mgt to be put into all rooms for any inconveniences caused during the night. Nothing was said or addressed. I had to request to speak to the reservation mgr instead. Now having spoken to him, I must admit that he handled the situation very well and professionally and offered ice cream to my kids and a glass of Prosecco to my family but my point is that it shouldn’t have gotten to that stage.
Breakfast is lovely, a good spread with different selections. The ready made mix pancake machine is not what I would expect to see in a 5*. Service is terrible. Lots of staff congregating and not attending to guests. Again not what I would expect in a 5*.
We had lunch at the resto by the pool and again even though the service standard was not great the food was. The pizzas were excellent!
Some of my family members and I went to the spa for treatments. I have to admit, my full body massage was one of the best. My therapist was excellent. The thermal suites are not worth it and I feel as a standard and a guest who is paying €1000 per night, access to the thermal suites should be complimentary. If I remember correctly when asking, they said they charge €25 for an hr!!
I’m really sorry to say that it was a disappointment as there is huge potential. If I would give them any advice to work on first, it would be to invest in proper hospitality training and service.

First of all, we are saddened to read your negative review, since we always strive to deliver our greatest values: kindness, friendliness and attentive service, to mention a few. Something must have happened during your stay that made you experience and perceive it in such a negative way, even those parts of the experience at Canne Bianche that in a way made us famous and desired in the whole industry, for which we apologize to the utmost. We certainly will take note of the observations you have made and we will do everything in our power to make sure that what you have pointed out does not represent a reality within the scope of our management. We had the chance to speak during your stay and I, as Front Office Manager, would have loved to tackle some of the issues it seems you were already encountering during your stay during our conversation, so that if there was anything we could have done we would have acted accordingly and timely, as we are used to; but please allow me to clarify some aspects of your review: You did not receive any letter from us, as the following morning, as soon as I started my shift, I was made aware you wanted to talk to me, I therefore preferred to apologize to you in person. The same I did with other guests I had the chance to meet that morning. However, we did not miss the opportunity to apologize to all those guests we did not have the pleasure to meet during that morning, by placing a letter in their rooms. We found the idea of placing the letter in all rooms, regardless of who we met or did not meet in person, to be repetitive and invasive. We are sorry to understand only now, by reading your negative review, that you misinterpreted what we thought to be a kind and though-through gesture as lack of attention and professionality. Had we known earlier, we would have explained to you the reasoning behind this decision. We are sure that during your stay you had the chance to find members of our staff talking to each other: unfortunately, we are aware that this can happen and we apologize if you had to assist to that, regardless of the topics that were being discussed by the colleagues, however we are even more sorry to read that apart from talking to each other they were most of all not attentive to you. This is quite shocking for us and even though this represents the first time we receive such feedback, we will make sure that does not happen again, as it certainly does not reflect our policies and values and what all other guests have experienced with us, therefore you have all the rights to receive the same experience and level of service as all other guests. Yes, we can confirm that the aaccess to our Aqua Spa is priced at € 20,00 per person for all of our beloved guests. The reason behind this symbolic price, especially considering, as you correctly mentioned, that a stay with us can become pricey at times, was set to bound the reservation somehow; in order to ensure the maximum privacy and calm within our spa, we have to limit the number of people accessing the spa at the same time. Experience in the industry have taught us that when granting free access to our spa, guests would not respect the reservations made, most of the times, whilst not allowing other guests to access the spa at those time slots if so, they wished. In the hope of clarifying this issue for you, we would like to also point out that, considering the number of treatments booked by your party, our Spa Manager decided to offer to all of you complimentary use of our wellness areas 15 minutes before each of your treatments. Stunningly beautiful property located directly on the Adriatic Sea! We were met with the most personable staff and immediately upgraded to one of two beach front suites - and given a tour of the property by the most lovely Anna! The grounds were filled with abundant and well groomed Puglian plants - which enhanced the already exquisite views. It was easy to access the pool and the sea and go for invigorating swims in both! The beach is small and not conducive to sunbathing, but the Adriatic makes up for it! The room and bath were spacious and provided every amenity. The spa was a welcome and serene relaxation point. The restaurant on site was abundant with the most beautiful foods from the Puglia region. We must compliment the staff for making us feel so welcome and like part of the family.

There are five-star hotels in Italy, France and Germany, where the staff maintain a professionally friendly but ultimately superficial contact, and there are houses where the staff takes care of the guests in a warm and passionate way. Like at Canne Bianche. It's just a question of attitude. We stayed here 10 days and felt very, very comfortable from the first moment. This starts with the very personal welcome. The staff is always very attentive, helpful and downright warm in all areas of the hotel. The hotel is tastefully decorated and exudes a subtle luxury. On several evenings we enjoyed the very nice atmosphere in the restaurant and the excellent quality of the food at a pleasant value for money. All this makes the Canne Bianche a total work of art. We would like to thank Pascal and Manuela in particular for their almost friendly interaction. We would definitely come back.

Canne Bianche is a member of the small luxury hotel family and it lives up to its standard. This charming, stylish and elegant seaside hotel offers beautiful ground, spa, comfortable room and superb service. From the moment we stepped into the hotel, we experienced warm hospitality and genuine care from the team. Every person we met in the hotel was full of passion for their work and aimed to provide their guests with the best service. Dinner and buffet breakfast was excellent. We tried a lot of local products that were cooked to perfection. The spa was beautiful and relaxing. The weather was too cold to use their outdoor pool. The most memorable part of the stay was the cooking lesson with Lena, their wonderful chef. This was a last minute arrangement and I am grateful about their flexibility. Lena taught me to make an orecchiette pasta dish which was fun and delicious. I always take a local cooking class when travelling and this experience here at Canne Bianche was fantastic. If you visit the Puglia region, you have to stay at Canne Bianche. We look forward to a future visit when the weather is warmer. Thanks for the great memory.

Like many of the other reviews we too would like to give this hotel 7 stars if we could. From the minute you drive through the gates you realise that this is a very special hotel. We were greeted personally and shown to our lovely room and then around the hotel. We were given a welcome drink with the most amazing snacks which incidentally you get with every drink you have in the hotel. Breakfast is superb, everything is fresh and delicious and the ricotta cheesecake is to die for. There is an egg station where the chef will make you any egg you like and the variety of foods is vast. The staff throughout the whole hotel are simply amazing, nothing is too much trouble for them. I would like to mention Matteo behind the front desk, Manuila in the restaurant, Daniele by the pool and Andrea the bellman. They were all so helpful and friendly and really look after you as do all the other members of staff. The hotel itself is beautiful and the little finishing touches everywhere are what makes this hotel so very special. The pool area is very pretty and the sun beds and cabanas are so comfortable and the pool itself was large and well maintained. We would thoroughly recommend this hotel and can’t wait to come back very soon.

If you going short distance you can walk or they have bikes at hotel. If not, the front desk can arrange transportation but it’s not the cheapest way if that’s a concern. Having a car is most convenient but if you like wine and aren’t too concerned about the cost, just have the concierge arrange transposition. There is a great driver they often use Giuseppe who has a nice van and super nice guy.

We flew from Manchester to Naples and drove across country on the M-way. Very little traffic and easy to navigate. The hotel is just off the dual carriageway that runs down N-S in Puglia, so dead easy. Tolls can be paid by CC.
There are beautiful beaches within about 20 minutes drive. There is a beach with sun beds next to the hotel which you can walk to but the beach is a bit rocky for swimming. Enjoy your trip
Dining venues and bars are open in September and October as well as our Pool.
Only our Lunch restaurant (Ristorante Aneto) may be closed because of the weather, but in that case lunch will be served at our Ristorante T_imo.
Please note that due to the Covid19 emergency, our Aqua Spa is partly closed.
It is not possible to use Sauna, Turkish Bath and Indoor hydromassage, but you can still book massages and treatments.
There are more places to choose from in the Torre Canne area.
