Super hotel within an old town house just off the main square of Todi. To stay there you feel part of the family as you are surrounded by pictures and furniture that have been amassed over generations. Room was first class and nothing was too much for all the staff. The hotel also arrange for FREE car parking, which is...

This lovingly resorted building set in picture perfect Umbria is close to perfect. When wandering through the hotel you are surrounded by history and beauty. Our room overlooks the Umbrian Valley and is 20 metres to the Town square, with a roof top terrace and a beautiful garden to relax in, one could not ask for more. The staff are...

Wonderful place, fantastic view to the valley, incredible position near the main square, splendid breakfast in the morning served by the gentle waitress, and a big thanks to the owner, she was very helpful with my car and giving tips to enjoy the little town. My wife, my son and me passed a nice evening in this special place.

Great convenient location. Walking distance to many outstanding restaurants. Breakfast includes a variety of sweets, fruits and cereals. Staff extremely helpfull and went out of their way to assist in locating parking.Only problem is parking is limited and confusing and not due to hotel but city of Todi itself. Great views from both the room and roof top patio.

My son and I stayed here on our self guided bike trip 2 weeks ago. We picked this hotel based off of reviews. I always love to pick a hotel where I feel like a local and not a tourist. I want creaky floors and beautiful windows. They had a safe place for our bicycles which was also a plus....

The stairs would be a bit of a struggle if you have a lot of gear and parking is (as with most historic centres) a trial but we loved this place. Only let down when we left by breakfast being late. We were told 8 but that is when the lady who prepares it arrives. It was not ready until...

We booked this place after reading the reviews on here. First impressions were good once we had climbed the steps. We were welcomed and shown where to park and given a pass. After this it went somewhat downhill. The breakfasts in Italy are generally basic affairs but this is on another level. No cheeses or meats, just a couple of...

The woman who runs this place, Chiara, is a treasure. Very helpful in many ways. (Pay close attention to her restaurant recommendation!) Our room was large, comfortable, and beautiful. Furnished with antiques, and with beautifully hand-painted beamed ceilings. Nice shared areas, too. The location is superb. You can walk about 30m down a narrow medieval street and find yourself in...

`We literally stumbled on Todi on our way to another town- saw the hill top walled city and made a detour- and am so glad we did-as we also stumbled on this jewel of a hotel down a small winding alleyway just off the main plaza. As other reviews say- a beautiful view, immaculate- decorated as the family home it...

San Lorenzo Tre felt like a very gracious home. The fact that the house has been in the family for generations partly explains this as does the hospitality of the owners. The rooms and public spaces are decorated with authenticity, the location is just steps from the piazza, and the beautiful view from our room overlooked the valley. If you...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Residenza San Lorenzo Tre is primely situated just a few steps away from the Todi Cathedral. It occupies the second floor of a historical 17th century building without an elevator. La Residenza had been the home of the Gagliardi-Pellegrini families for five generations before the owner Marzia Morena opened its doors as a hotel to guests. The Residenza San Lorenzo Tre remains the atmosphere of the late 19th century, with every corner of the house, each piece of furniture, vintage framed picture telling the story of the Gagliardi-Pellegrini family. The central yet tranquil location with the amazing view from the Residenza San Lorenzo Tre makes it an ideal destination for those wishing to spend a relaxing holiday in the heart of the old city of Todi. A stay at the San Lorenzo Tre would be a memorable journey through time for those who seek the bygone era of Italian elegance. ... more   less
