We stayed here a few months ago so apologies to Enrico the owner for the delay with this review. Where to start? A couple of days before we were due to come to the bristol with our son and his partner he sprained his ankle, not bad enough to cancel the holiday but badly enough to severely limit how far he could walk etc. This could have spoiled the holiday if it wasn't for Enrico. Not only did he disappear off into town on the first day and return with a pair of crutches, (i have no idea where he got them!) but after that he offered to run us into town and pick us up again whenever we needed him to. We took him up on the offer a couple of times, with him dropping us off at restaurants and collecting us again when we were ready to return. I cannot praise him and his staff enough. The pool area is lovely , the rooms were spotless and the general feel is of a well run family hotel. Once again thanks Enrico, you went out of your way to help and we were very grateful. The best service we have ever had from any hotel.…
Stayed overnight prior to catching Pisa flight back to Scotland. Very hospitable and helpful staff. More than sufficient choice for breakfast. If in area again would stay another night in order to enjoy the pool and surroundings.
Hotel Bristol is a family run hotel, very comfortable – infact it felt like coming home to spend eight days there. The whole place is exceptionally clean, the rooms have a mini fridge, tv, play station, shutters on the windows so its exceptionally dark giving a great night’s sleep, toiletries in the bathroom and the bed was large and very comfortable. Outside the pool area is quiet and a piece of paradise and for those more energetic there is a tennis court and you can borrow bikes. There is an honesty bar with drinks and ice creams and fresh, large, fluffy pool towels. The walk from the hotel into town is flat and takes about 10 minutes and there are plenty of restaurants and cafes etc there. The hotel owner, Enrico is only too happy to give you recommendations for restaurants, places to visit, and information on buses, trains or anything you want or need. Public transport is superb – bus to Pisa or Livorno costs 2 Euros and trains from Pisa to Florence, Lucca or further afield are plentiful and inexpensive. You can even get the bus to Marina Di Pisa free of charge! But the best thing by far is the welcome and hospitality of Enrico, his family and the team at Hotel Bristol. Nothing is too much trouble for them. We didn’t want to leave and will certainly return. Thanks Enrico and team Hotel Bristol for a great holiday.…
What a find..... immaculate hotel inside and out. Lovely pool with plenty of beds/towels. Delightful family run hotel with attention to personal detail. Nothing too much trouble. Great local advice. Comfortable beds and super bedding. Enrico you are a ⭐️⭐️⭐️ working so hard making sure all your guests are happy! Take a day off 😂 or book yourself a holiday! Thank you!
An excellent family run hotel, spotlessly clean, great facilities in the rooms & hotel, quiet area, with cheap easey bus routes to the area & Pisa, plus in Pisa great priced train trips to the rest of the towns/area. too chill the hotel pool is fabulous with towels and honesty bar, fantastic. The Bristol Hotel's continental breakfast is great with especially fantastic cappuccino/espresso from Enrico every morning. there are a number of nice places to eat in Tirrenia, all a short walk from the Bristol Hotel, especially special is Piropo's, food, wine and staff excellent, if I could I would still be in Tirrenia being looked after by the warm/friendly Italian people of Tuscany. thanks for a great holiday.
