I have been going to Pianciano for several years with my friends now and I can say that I have never been let down. Both during winter and during summer I believe it to be one of the best places to have a relaxing holiday, away from the busy city life, in Italy. This place has something magical. With a...

My husband, toddler, and I stayed in Cipresso for a week in May 2016. The property exceeded our expectations and we enthusiastically recommend it. We had all the necessary modern amenities in a charming, rustic home. The home was very clean and well taken care of, and we slept very well. Claudia was super-easy to work with, and made sure...

Our first visit to this magical place was September of 2012 and we went back again June of 2014. On both occasions, we (family with 3 kids) stayed at the Casa del Cipresso which we highly recommend if you're travelling with young children. The pictures on the website are a true reflection of the rooms and views and even better...

We enjoyed a lovely and memorable stay here in May of 2015 as a family of 7 adults and 1 baby. Pianciano is truly a magical hamlet set above the hills, with views of the sparkling lights of Spoleto in the distance. The location is perfect for days trips exploring all of the wonders of Umbria, and the house, pool...

My wife, young children, extended family and I stayed at Pianciano (Casa dell'arco) for a week in late summer 2015. The setting - nestled on a hillside among olive trees and overlooking the valley - was unbeatable. If you close your eyes and think of a picture of Umbria, this is it. It was a pleasure to wake up every...

Happy memories for our large family (14 persons) who thoroughly enjoyed our stay in La Rocca and Casa del Arco, so much so we didn't want to leave! We even had snow which for this bunch of Aussies was pretty special. The conversion of these stone dwellings (homely and comfortable) is most interesting, the views along the valley delightful and...

We had a wonderful week at Pianciano at the end of August staying in La Roccia. The whole environment is well kept and tended from the beautiful villas to the wonderful grounds to the fabulous pool. You are at once left completely alone and at the same time immediately able to access advice, information and assistance. It is wonderfully quiet...

We were lucky to spend a week in Casa dell'Arco with our children, parents and sibling. The house is spacious. comfortable, and well-decorated. It is set on the most lovely hill surrounded by olive groves--even the bathrooms have phenomenal views. We enjoyed the combination of quiet isolation but still having other families around (especially for pizza night). Claudia and Francesco...

Pianciano is a magical place to spend time. Everything about it surpassed our expectations. We stayed in El Arcco (circa 1450) which was spacious, comfortable, beautifully appointed and wonderfully stocked with everything we needed. The pool and gardens are gorgeous. We took a cooking class with Maria who taught us how to make eggplant parmesano among many other Italian classic...
