The hotel is well placed to spend time in Spoleto, situated next to the post office and a few minutes walk to the tourist office, and main squares of the town, with excellent views over the Umbrian hill side. Helpful staff, clean accommodation, spacious rooms. Very good choice for breakfast of fresh fruit, cereals, ham, boiled eggs, fresh rolls, pastries etc....

We stayed 3 nights at this hotel which is just outside the walls of old Spoleto. The accommodation was good and location fantastic. My only complaint was that the food here is sub-standard. The breakfast was less than we had experienced at similar hotels in France and Italy in our travels. We also had two dinners at the hotel and...

In all my years of visiting, working in and vacationing in Spoleto, Italy, this is one of my favorite hotels, hands down! We now use this hotel for our annual Umbrian Serenades choral/cultural program that takes place in late July every summer. The staff is incredible - they go way beyond our expectations and are genuinely engaged and passionate about...

Since my first review of this wonderful hotel I have gone back and stayed twice, took another group of 26 people; I cannot speak any higher of this outstanding 4 star hotel in the historic center of Spoleto. The professionalism and attention to detail of the staff is unlike any other. Our program participants had a wonderful 12 night stay...

We stayed at Hotel Dei Duchi for 5 nights in July 2011 during the Festival. We were very impressed with practically everything about this hotel: the perfect location, the great views, a comfortable and spotlessly clean room with a large bathroom, delicious food, friendly and competent service. The staff accommodated us with every request we made even for softer pillows!...

We stayed there four nights in May, 11. The room was good sized, so we had plenty of room to scatter our stuff about, which we like to do. Extra chairs, good bathroom, excellent bed and a small balcony looking away from town. Very quite, perfectly clean, efficient and courteous service. The morning colazione was good, not spectacular. We ate...

Spoleto was an incredible discovery, but would never have been the same without finding this hotel and it's wonderful service. Customer service is sadly a rarity these days, but from the moment we stepped into the hotel, we felt at home. A lovely older chap by the name of Luciano let us choose our rooms, helped us with everything from...

The hotel is centrally located near the entrance of the old town but at the same time is very quiet and peaceful. Its garden overlooks the Roman Theater and on the other side the wonderful hills surrounding Spoleto. The restaurant service was excellent and the food mouthwatering! All in all a great experience worth coming back for especially during the...

We stayed two nights at this hotel, and were generally pleased with the stay. It's located right on the fringe of the historic center, within easy walking distance of all the major attractions and many good restaurants. It's on a main road leading into the center of town, and not that hard to find (although it's not particularly well marked)....
