Even though we arrived just after 1.00pm the room was ready. we were on the top floor but facing the road, the better views are on the other side of the hotel which then faces the slopes. The ski hire shop was next door so no long walk and the boot room was spacious with heated lockers. A short walk...

Firstly the negative, the hotel decor is a little tired however this is completely outweighed by the positives which are the ski in ski out location, the extremely friendly staff and the excellent food. At the five course evening meal where there was always plenty of choice, the food good quality, freshly cooked and the hotel owner took great pride...

Outstandingly friendly staff. Large selection of good, fresh food. Large heated boot room. Great position - ski in / ski out. Rooms are perfectly clean and more than adequate but just starting to look a little tired, but this really seems a picky thing to say in view of the overall excellence of the hotel. Would be very happy to...

We have just returned from an excellent week at the Hotel Du Col. We booked through Crystal and can't recommend the hotel highly enough. All the staff are fantastic, nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are cleaned daily, with fresh towels if required. The food was very good, we were impressed with the standard and variety of food every...

Location: The hotel was well located in regards to amenities but for ski school, it was in the complete other direction which was a nightmare. It is considered ski in/out in the sense you put your skis on as you exit but to get to ski school, its either a 20 minute walk or a very strenuous ski/shuffle for a...

We are just back from a week at this hotel and we were all made very welcome. The decor was a little dated and needed updating (plug sockets, TV etc) but this didn't spoil our holiday. Restaurant staff were excellent and kept us topped up with wine. Cleaning staff very friendly and polite. Good location (not quite so good for...

We stayed at this hotel as a last minute booking with Crystal for a week's skiing. Read the reviews, and apart from the odd one or two about poor quality food (??), seemed a good choice. Life had been mad all year, and ended up with a 380 mile round trip on Easter Friday (taking 9 hours.....), then a 200+...

Ski-in, ski-out location on the piste, great atmosphere due to the excellent staff throughout and the food - lots of choice, good quality and plentiful. The downstairs bar was the focus for après ski (free cakes and coffee) and then the upstairs bar was a great place to relax (wi-fi was strongest here) before the extensive dinner. The wine flowed,...
