Lovely staff, really clean facilities, lots of hot water and a really nice small and friendly campsite. Sestri is a lovely little town and it was a great base for visiting Cinque Terre and Portofino. Would definately go back.

It may be a basic campsite, but it is in a nice setting and the people are lovely. Danilo & Adriana made us feel very welcome, even running us into Sestri Levante for a small fee. As someone said earlier, the site is almost beneath a motorway junction, but you wouldn't know it from the noise levels. The Italians really...

It could not have been better. The place, the atmosphere, Danilo the Manager, everything. We will come back next year for sure! Loved it all! Special is the hospitality, and the beautiful area. Very good location for going to Cinque Terra etc.

This campsite is small but very well positioned to explore the lovely area around Sestri Levante and the coast. We were made very welcome by the site staff and with restaurant on site this made a great place to stay. The location appears to be very close to the main road but you can not hear anything of the road...

2 adults, 3 kids and a dog, we spent a great 5 days, going to the beach in Sestri Levante - which is beautiful, with fantastic snorkelling. We drove to the car park in the town then walked to the smaller horse- shoe shaped beach - lovely. We also had a great boat trip to 3 of the Cinqueterra villages...

We arrived at this site and we're not sure whether to stay but the welcome from the owners was so friendly and helpful we completely changed our minds. The approach to the site is not the best and is situated right next door to the motorway but due to the sound barriers we never heard any traffic noise at all....

We had done a little research on this camp site as we were staying for a few days and wanted somewhere convenient, clean and friendly and we got that in spades. From the moment we arrived until the day we left they couldn't do enough for us. The site itself is efficiently run but retains a family atmosphere. All facilities...

The review by Andy H says it nearly all and we endorse everything in his review. We have a large Camper, so it was difficult manouvering, but Danilo couldn't do enough to help. We also had bikes, so we cycled down into Sestri, to the beach and also to the train station, it was cheap to travel into Genoa. We...

Returned this year to Fossa Lupara following a tour in our motorhome. We were welcomed by Danilo who remembered us from our first visit 2 years ago. The site is very handy for Sestri Levante. You can walk to the town and the beach in twenty minutes. Showers and toilets were very clean. There is a cafe/ restaurant on site....
