Super nice place. Food was good, but could have been better. Breakfast, though was very good. Very good location to slopes and lift. Nice swimming pool and very nice sauna. A family run hotel for family travelling!

Me and my big family, we were 16 travelling together in january 2013. The host Egon welcomed me like a king all the time. Time to ski in the morning until 1600, then relaxing in fabulous spa and swimming pool that all the kids loved. Good, healthy food for dinner. We loved it there in the heart of the Dolomite....

I was with a tour group so all arrangements were handled by our trip so I can't speak to the pre-trip communication as others have. What I do know is that the Hotel Solaia was a perfect place for our ski vacation in Selva. Egon and his team were gracious, friendly, and accommodating for our group of 12 the entire...

We have stayed at the Solaia on two occasions and have enjoyed our stay there both times. The first time we went to the hotel we were very concerned as we had not been asked to pay a deposit and many of our emails had not been answered. We arrived and there were insufficient rooms available - to Egon's credit...

Staying at Hotel Solaia was a delightful experience for my family and I. After a long day of skiing, the kids were able to enjoy swimming in the pool while my husband and I enjoyed healing our muscles in the sauna. We did the half board which made dinner and breakfast easy. I especially was glad for the secured ski...

Positives: The hotel location is very good - virtually ski in, ski out - although the run back to the hotel is a bit awkward to get to and would be a challenge for beginners. The pool and sauna were good. Rooms were clean and comfortable, if a bit small. Negatives: The reception and bar areas are a bit basic....

We travelled as a group of 14 (8 adults and 6 children) and when we booked we were a little concerned by the limited response from Egon and the request for no deposit. We were not sure if we would turn up to find any rooms available. Our worries were completely unnecessary and on arrival Egon greeted our coach with...

Hotel Solaia in Selva, Italy (in the Val Gardena of the Dolomites) is an amazingly perfect family operated hotel. The views from every room are stunning. My husband & I stayed in a double room with a balcony, but they also have singles and suites. In addition to our amazing room, there is also an indoor pool, workout area, HUGE...
