We stayed here in January and it was lovely and quiet. The location is slightly out of the town but walkable in 10 mins in normal shoes (not ideal in ski boots) and the hotel has a resident driver Gigi who runs a near constant and on demand shuttle to and from the ski lifts and town.

The hotel itself is clean and tidy with a large ski and boot room. The rooms are basic and compact but clean - the showers are tiny but pump out high pressure hot water which is much needed at the end of the day. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Our only criticism of the hotel is the food. We are vegetarians and despite informing our tour operator of this the hotel didn’t seem to know and didn’t seem to really know how to cater for us. The starter buffet had a limited selection and one evening they didn’t have a middle course for us and just said have the pasta from the buffet. The main courses were average at best and bland. We ended up eating our for the last half of the holiday. As for breakfast, there are no hot options or fresh fruit on offer but there are croissants, cereals and white bread for toast.

Overall a very pleasant stay but for us the food let it down slightly.

Our group of 11 stayed at this hotel for new year 22/23 for a skiing holiday. The hotel is slightly dated but added to its charm and it was very clean, warm and well maintained. The rooms are basic but clean and have everything needed such as good wardrobe space, bedside tables and en suite bathroom with shower. The shower is a corner one and is very small however had good water pressure and always had hot water. The hotel owners are very helpful and friendly and check in was quick and easy.

The food was very good, breakfast consisted of a continental buffet with ham cheese, boiled eggs, fruit, cereal, yogurts and warm croissants. There was also a toastie machine available to use every morning. As we had an early pick up on our last day they were happy to put breakfast on half an hour early for us. Evening meal was again very good, there was a cold buffet to start with various salads, fresh soup and pasta with a tomato sauce which the kids all loved. This was the followed by a pasta course such as lasagna, ravioli etc. The main meal was usually meat or fish with veg and potatoes followed by a dessert. There was always something for everyone and it is impossible to go hungry there!!

The hotel is situated a little outside the main town of Sauze and is around a 15/20 minute walk. the hotel does however have their own minibus and super lovely driver called Enzo who will take you back and forth whenever you wish, he dropped us all daily at the main ski lifts and would collect us from wherever we were in town following après ski. He would also take you back into town later at night and would pick you up until 11pm so the location wasn't an issue for us. The hotel also has a heated boot room in the basement for all your skis and boots etc to be stored.

Overall we had a great stay at Park Hotel Gran Bosco and would happily stay again.

From the outset, the owners went out of their way to be helpful, friendly and hospitable, even offering to drive us to a bus stop in town on our return journey.
While the hotel's location is around half a mile from the centre of the resort, it is peaceful and picturesque (an antidote to the party atmosphere of Sauze centre). Otherwise, a driver is available on request to drop you at the ski lifts or collect you at the end of the day at no additional cost.
Breakfast was more than adequate in terms of quality and variety with savoury items such as cheese, cold cuts and boiled eggs available over and above the customary pastries and cereal.
Our room, complete with a balcony view of the mountains, was a good size and spotlessly clean, unsurprising perhaps given the efficient daily maid service.
Very little to dislike though the decor would benefit from an update. Also, I would have appreciated some information in the room directing us to local bars and restaurants and other amenities.
In summary, we would have no hesitation in booking a future stay.

We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights for a skiing holiday. Staff were very friendly and helpful, they arranged taxis for those who needed it and were always pleasant (we speak Italian so this may have helped).
Plenty of choice at breakfast with fresh pastries, fresh fruit, coffee, juice, ham, cheese, eggs and bread. There were also biscuits and snack items.
Gigi the driver was amazing and always happy to transport hotel guests at any time of the day.
There is a storage room for skiing equipment and the rooms were lovely, spacious with beautiful views of the mountains.
Can’t complain about anything!! The walk to town is 10minutes which we enjoyed after dinner or apres.

What a great find. We booked with Inghams for a skiing break and the hotel was perfect. Quiet and lovely staff. The food was great and with a courtesy transfer to and from the slopes each day made it a perfect week spent in Italy.
We went as a group of seven and all of us were so happy that we are all thinking of returning.

It’s a bit out of the way and certainly not fancy but Erica, Gigi and all the other staff arc extremely helpful and accommodating. The food is quick, good and plentiful. The shuttle into town and to the slopes is on demand all day and evening. It’s a favourite with schools so everyone is fighting for the WiFi. There’s board games, table football and ping pong. The bar prices are very reasonable bearing in mind it’s a captive audience

We found this hotel to be 3 star as its promoted with basic clean rooms of a decent size . Warm , comfortable beds with a good breakfast mainly cold food . The staff are accommodating with a special shout out to Enzo the mini bus driver who was brilliant. The dinners were disappointing due to the poor quality of the 2nd main courses . We chose to go out for dinner a few times as a result. They did do a packed lunch on the days we didn't eat dinner

I was there during the ski season and found the hotel to be just perfect. The breakfast was wholesome and very filling with great choice. The room was very clean and well equipped. Stefano the owner was very helpful and Gigi was always available to drive or collect us in the shuttle bus.

This is a quaint hotel and I mean that in a good way. The staff are attentive and helpful. There is a mini bus that will take you into town or to the slopes on request, Gigi is the best. The food is great and the bar reasonably priced. The rooms are clean and even though I made the bed each day, ex military, the staff still remade it. Even the dog is super friendly. It’s great hotel and I can’t rate it highly enough and it’s real value for money.

I arrived at this hotel on 3rd February having booked through Booking.com and the hotel was completely closed. Relais des Alpes came to our rescue and said it had closed at least three days previously.

We’d had no notification and Booking.com were polite but useless, considering it was 9.00 at night with nowhere to stay. If you have a reservation please be aware
