We were unexpectedly diverted from France to Italy so arrived in Sauze with no reservation. Dumping my husband in a bar with a beer and a menu I went to find a bed for the night (ideally 7nts)..I`d read a few resort reviews on the train so my priority was proximity to the lift as the roads are steep. Hotel...

Prior to staying at this hotel we were fully aware of the previous reviews made. We ski every year at half term and have done so for the last 12 years, traveling to various countries and resorts. This hotel has tons of positives and yes a few negatives too. The hotel is old fashioned, mismatched furniture and odd bits of...

Went skiing in January. We had a great stay here. The breakfasts were big and set you up perfect for a day on the slopes. Evening meals were perfect. Lots of stuff I normally wouldn't have chosen. But the food was lovely! Pasquale the host is a great guy. Typical Italian charm!! Room was just what we needed. Very big,...

Visited second week of February 2017. We visited Sauze 2 years ago and enjoyed the environment so much we wanted to return and booking through Nielsen offered a fantastic deal at this hotel. Situated a 50 meter downhill walk from the Clotes lift which gives unrivalled access to the slopes. The bedroom and shower room was quite large enough for...

We stayed in La Terrazza for 6 nights in January 2017, it is a cheap and cheerful hotel in need of Modernizing but the price we paid reflected this so we knew what to expect. If all you want to do is ski, eat your meals and have a place to crash then this is a perfect place. The Hilton...

Excellent location!! Close to the ski slopes, ski lifts, ski hire shops, busses, bars and the centre of town! Very friendly, professional and helpful staff. Pasquale who I believe was the General Manager was very attentive, professional and worked hard with all the staff to keep dinner service organised. The food was good quality, simple Italian food, anti pasti, primi,...

Extremely impressed with the service at the Terrazza, Pasquale and the restaurant girls are extremely friendly and will do anything for you. Having read previous reviews about the quality of the food, we were pleasantly surprised, not sure what those people were expecting for a 3 star hotel! It was all very good, especially the pasta dishes and deserts. Pasquale's...

For those that have not been to Sauze d'Oulx before the hotel location needs a bit of explaining, Sauze d'Oulx is a town on the side of a mountain, therefore it means that the roads are on incline with hotels situated at various points on the side of the mountain. The Hotel Terrazza is approximately 100 yards up hill from...

It is not very often that one feels compelled to write a review as a warning to fellow travelers. This is not just a negative review; it is the description of an experience that was beyond belief. A group of 50 people that had to bear four days of noise, lack of hygiene, and awful food. Let me start by...
