Maria and Davide are the loveliest hosts and couldn't be more helpful. We were collected from Oulx station and driven to the ski hire shop where we received a 20% discount then to the B&B. This is a lovely house where everything is kept immaculate. Breakfast was typical Italian supplemented with freshly cooked eggs. It is just a 5 min walk to the nearest ski lift (no.10) where you can also buy lift passes. It was a 15 min walk into the centre of Sauze D'Oulx along a quiet road where you arrive at the quaint end of the town. At the end of our holiday Davide returned our equipment to the ski hire shop for us which was so helpful.

Mara was the most amazing host. I arrived early and she was perfect in allowing me to get changed so could go skiing on that day! Made me feel welcome instantly.
The room was perfect, good space, 2 chairs and a spacious bathroom, everything you could need!
The breakfast was brilliant with all sorts of great food to set you up for the day! The breakfast area was lovely with a log burner and TV and was a great place to chill if you wanted to as well!
Mara made you feel at home in her home!
There was parking outside as I had hired a car and driven up from Turin.
Great location for skiing with an easily accessible chair lift, and you could ski back down to there too, and this was a mere 150 metres away!
I would not hesitate in recommending this B&B…and hope to return!!

A chance find for a solo trip to meet friends. This ended up being a couple of days skiing as well.

The accommodation was situated at a lower point in the town so walking up into the main area was a little tiring as the route was steep. The return trip was much easier even after a drink.

I had a lovely double room next to the dining area with a large en suite bath room.

It was very clean spacious and quaint. Ample hanging space and seating to rest in the evening.

The owners were lovely. So helpful with advice about the area. The gave me guidance on ski hire and the best route onto the slopes.

Breakfast was plentiful and if you wanted a little more it was not a problem.

The ski and boot room had easy access and on my last day I was allowed to leave my bags, enjoy my skiing before catching the nearby but to the station.

I would recommend and visit again.

My boyfriend and myself stayed at Petit in the beginning of Feb 2015 and in all the years we have been travelling, never have we felt so welcome! Mara, Davide and their two gorgeous boys made us feel so much at home in their beautifully wooden decorated panelling and furniture hand-made by Davide.

The premises consists of 3 pretty rooms downstairs for us guests, each painted in distinctive colours and Mara and Davide live upstairs to give their guests their own privacy. Each room either has a door which leads on to the balcony or a window which leads on to the balcony. Our room had 2 windows and 1 door overlooking the beautiful snow capped mountains.

Each morning, Mara would prepare a nice selection of items for breakfast starting with typical cheese from Sauze d’Oulx, ham, bread, yoghurts, scrumptious croissants and her mouth-watering home-made cakes. She would bake and serve a different treat each day!

We could have even titled this review as “Unparallel Hospitality”! Mara and Davide would each day offer us a lift up to the village centre. We generally preferred to walk – it is a 10min uphill walk to the main village. But they always infallibly offered to drive us up to the main centre.
They also took care of our ski gear, we went to try out ski boots on and they very kindly picked them up for us and returned them to the rentals once we were ready from skiing. Another time I ended up catching the last chair-lift to the centre of Sauze d’Oulx and when I called to ask Mara which bus to catch back to the bed and breakfast, just 5 mins later I found Davide outside waiting to pick me up to take me back to the guest house. Thank you Mara for also giving us a lift down to the train station in Oulx! Their hospitality was unbeatable!

We would definitely like to return to Sauze and we would not look at any other accommodation except for this beautiful bed and breakfast!

This Bed & Breakfast is situated within walking distance from the Chairlift to the skiing area of Sauze d'Oulx and a couple of minutes away from the centre of the town. The owners offers an excellent and friendly service and were always pleased to help and give suggestions when required. Parking absolutely not a problem as it is available on site. Excellent service Davide & Mara! Thank you.

This delightful small family run B&B was perfect for our weeks ski trip in Sauze... Very close to the village ski lift and only 10 minutes walk to the centre... It is uphill on the way in but Mara and David kindly offered to drop us in town... We were made to feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble! The Accomodation is modern, new, very clean and yet traditional with lots of wood which we loved! It was also a pleasure to meet the two lovely children! The breakfasts were very nice every morning... We would recommend this place to anyone in summer or winter! Thank you we hope to see you again!

First let me start by saying thank you to Mara and her beautiful family. I has pleasure of staying here over New Years week. From the moment we arrived myself and my boyfriend were made feel so welcome. Mara helped us with everything from ski hire to lift pass to dropping us to town centre (which is less than 10 mins walk) Unfortunately on day 1 skiing I had a fall and tore ligaments in my knee. Mara was so good to us both providing ice packs, pain relief when I ran out, transport and helping to arrange a spa day. Mara also had great resteraunt recommendation and helped us arrange New Year's Eve plans. The accommodation is beautiful and breakfast was scrumptious. It is located a stones throw from the chair lifts leading to ski schools and some great slopes. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this little gem!

Mara was very accommodating as we arrived at 12:30am (no late check-in fee) and on the day of our departure we had to leave very early and she was kind enough to prepare us breakfast at 6am. Overall the place was spotless and location great. Highy recommended!

Lovely little B&B with a lot of character & a very homely feel at a very reasonable price. The price was inclusive of breakfast (of course), pick up & drop off to station, ski equipment collection & drop off, taxi service to town, discount vouchers for ski passes and equiment hire, wi-fi and so on. Very impressed! Would recommend this place to anyone.

We stayed at Petit Bed & Breakfast in January 2014 for my girlfriends 30th birthday. I cannot say enough good things about this place! The hosts were wonderful and were always there for us. They always offered to take us to and from the centre of sauze d'oulx (a 10 walk away). The food was delicious, the conversation was great, and they are extremely flexible and accommodating. Mara and Davide hosted us in their beautiful home and really helped to make our stay, and my girlfriends 30th, a very memorable occasion. Like other reviews here, I can't imagine a better place to stay in town. If you're looking for a welcoming, friendly, and cosy place to stay with hosts that go out of their way to make your stay as enjoyable as possible, then look no further!
