Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

On the Italian coast, there is a nice hotel with a great setting. We enjoyed a delicious sea fruit meal. With additional fish and meat specialties, as well as a variety of various cut fruits, the breakfast buffet might be somewhat enhanced. There was a built-in kitchen in mine, and the rooms were cozy and spotlessly clean.

This place came highly recommended but our stay there was nothing short of a disaster. Where did this place get its 4starts and how it’s a baffling mystery to me and my family. We were booked there for a week (me, my toddler and my parents) and ended up fleeing on the second day. The structure is far bigger and more chaotic than expected, and what we saw of it was run down and in need of maintenance or better yet, a complete refurb. The rooms were cavernous and awfully decorated, the bed one of the most uncomfortable I’ve ever slept in my nearly 40 years, the service - albeit delivered by friendly staff - was overall poor. From the lack of care and attention to the food (clearly cooked in humongous quantities and rarely freshly made) to the waiters constant confusion, to the crowded and chaotic beach and lack of a beach kiosk deserving of its name: it’s a place to avoid at all costs. But the most disgraceful aspect of our stay - and the thing that made us run for our lives and hastily look for an alternative accommodation during the busiest summer week in Italy - was the CONSTANT NIGHTTIME ENTERTAINMENT, piano bar karaoke and awful disco went on until 3am - in a place that caters mainly to families (!!!!!!!!!!!!) I was barricaded in my room as my toddler was thankfully sleeping since 10pm and I had to chose to melt in one of the hottest weeks this year to achieve a slightly less aggressive noise pollution from the partying going on mere meters away - multiple times I had been on the verge to call the cops. More then a holiday a (short) trip to hell. AVOID IF YOU SEEK RELAX

Sabaudia is magnificent, but the hotel need refurbishment. Rooms were smelly and old: we changed them three times in 6 days. I definitely do not recommend it although it was a beautiful place with good food

Spa and Sauna closed, unannounced due to Covid, even though Health Clubs are open elsewhere again. But charging full price for rooms in October, with closed Spa when that is what’s needed after a nice swim in the ocean.

Perfect location. Breakfast - as usual in Italy - Italian :) Good SPA. I had a very good massage. Beautiful interior of the hotel - this hotel has a style. It's worth to to know what's Kufra - some history helps to understand the style

A comfortable hotel on the beautiful Sabaudia beach, overlooking the pontine islands, very nice service and affordable prices. Lack of charming but good cost/benefit balance and a well functioning and clean spa

We stayed just one night here on a road trip before heading back to Rome. The entrance is confusing since it is gated. You can get out of your car and ring reception. There was another entrance to a parking area but the walk to reception was a little long. So then I drove the car around but no one helped with the luggage. The elevator fits 2 people, the room was small (as many European rooms are) but the balcony overlooking the sea was stunning. The mattress was not up to American standards. We went mid-week right at the beginning of the season, so both outdoor bars were closed. However, the indoor bar gave us drinks to drink on the terrace and then put drinks in plastic cups to take to the beach. The beach is beautiful with many chairs and umbrellas. There is also a children’s playground and what looked to be a conservation area next to the hotel. The dinner in the dining room was pretty much awful, but the breakfast buffet was fine. The hotel has a retro-modern feel. If you are looking for a great beach and sunset, this is your place. Otherwise, average.

This p!ace is wonderful. Modern, clean, luxurious and right on the beach, with an umbrella and chairs included along with breakfast. If our time was not running out, we would stay for another day or two.

My wife and I first visited here in 2014 for the observation of Biblical Holy Days. We returned again in October 2017 for the same purpose. As with the first time, the hotel staff were incredibly friendly and the hotel itself was incredibly accommodating our group which fully filled the entire hotel. Our Double Deluxe room (highly recommended) had a Jacuzzi inside with a rain shower head, a nice but slightly firm bed, the typical furniture, and a private ocean-facing balcony with a tub on it. It was clean and in pretty good shape, though the automatic internal-shaded glass "walls" around the Jacuzzi had moisture between the panes and was a bit underwhelming. It was a small small thing! Wi-Fi in our room was almost impossible to get, but it worked on the balcony and we were too busy enjoying ourselves to be concerned about that! We love it and will be glad to return.

Amazing view and position . Restaurant of good quality. However if wasn't for the position I would never rated it 4 stars. The room was very small and the towels and bed sheets very old with holes on it. 180 euro per night and you don't have any sort of help with the luggage. The carpet on the floors is old and full of stains. Seriously the manager of the hotel should consider to spend some money on it before charging this fortune. Please don't call it 4 stars when al you got is the location helping you.
