This is not my first review of the Belvedere. The Belvedere has been an annual pilgrimage for us since our first visit in Sept 2004 and in that time we have only missed one year but frequently have had two fixes a year. The Belvedere is not just a hotel, ...... cue Fleetwood Mac - Albatross ...... The Belvedere is class, style, comfort, family, friends, gourmet food, fun ...... it's a home away from home. I go for the cycling, riding in guided tours meeting up with old friends, meeting and making new friends as we cycle around the beautiful countryside of Emilia Romanga. Meanwhile, my wife enjoys the sumptuous surrounds of the hotel, the beach, the resort of Riccione and surrounding larger towns of Rimini, Cattolica or Pesaro. We first chose the Belvedere over Dubai by chance on a grey Saturday afternoon spring 2004 when my wife and I were looking for some special for our 20th wedding anniversary. I was attracted by the cycling my wife, the Italian cookery demonstrations. We haven't looked back, I go for the cycling, riding in the led tours meeting up with old friends, meeting and making new friends as we cycle around the beautiful countryside of Emilia Romanga. Meanwhile, my wife enjoys the sumptuous surrounds of the hotel, the beach or the resort of Riccione and the surrounding larger towns of Rimini, Cattolica or Pesaro. We were absolutely smitten from the start. The first thing that captivated us was the warmth of the welcome from the owner, Marina and all her staff. In all the years that we have been coming here we can not believe how Marina always seems to find the friendliest, hardest working, happiest and most attentive team we have ever have had the pleasure to meet. The way the hotel looks, the facilities and services and the faces have changed over the years but the warmth and welcome hasn't changed. It's like spending special time with favourite relatives who live on the other side of the world. The Belvedere is our sanctuary away from all the madness, especially this year. True, this year, there wasn't the normal friendly jostle around the bar or the 5 star hot buffet because of social distancing but the normal welcome, warmth and love was there in spades. The food, which ranges from rustic regional dishes to fine dining was as plentiful and outstanding as always. The resort itself was quieter but still vibrant and enjoyable. We know how much of their hearts and souls Marina, her family and her team put into the Belvedere and we were determined to return to our special place once again this year mainly because of this. Marina and her team take great pride in the fantastic reputation that the Belvedere has and richly deserve and they have all worked very hard in bringing in policies and procedures to ensure that guests have a safe and enjoyable stay at the Belvedere. The Belvedere is not just a hotel ……. it is simply The Hotel.…

2020...supposed to be such a great year, so many things to look forward to. Instead after an extraordinary 6 months, the time to travel beckoned. Nothing was more in our mind than to return to The Belvedere, to feel normal again, and wow did Marina and all the staff deliver! Thank you...as always, the environment, the friendly and most helpful staff and the outstanding food was appreciated by all. The measures in place for managing social interactions and infection transmission were very evident but did not interfere with our enjoyment and relaxation. Going for the first time in September was a real treat. As cyclists the tour guiding is exceptional, and the tours always well thought out. The cocktails, the evening canapés and pre dinner nibbles, so tasty and beautiful. One warning....Never will you be hungry, so expect to put on weight even if are on the cycle trips...You simply cannot go wrong, book it now!! …

Marina and her amazing staff have done it again - inspite of Covid. This is such an amazing place - faultless in fact - and a total joy to stay in. Even though the buffet was more restricted (in terms of having to be served rather the serving yourself) because of Covid measures, the food was still exceptional, the service exemplary, and the overall experience, superb. The guided rides are amazing - so all in all, THE perfect place to cycle in style and comfort.

This year more than ever Marina’s Belvedere is THE holiday. The trust we have in the one and only Marina, her attentive and competent team, her beautiful hotel, pool and restaurant, the menus and concept they provided us with in advance, meant that we enjoyed our summer holiday from the moment we stepped onto the bridge across the pool! Riccione offers a sensible family environment, with clean beaches and boutiques, but the true star is the Belvedere experience, cycling, swimming and sunshine. We look forward to returning every year - highlights from this year include truffle hunting in Pietralunga (c. 1 hour drive) and of course the beach and pool parties! Bravissimo tutti 😚

This year we thought hard about traveling on holiday, but we’re glad that we did. We again returned to Hotel Belvedere, and were glad to find that Marina and her staff had made changes to adapt to COVID, without harming the friendliness and warmth, good food and fun cycling that have made us return year after year. Thanks to all the staff for making our stay a safe and happy one!

At the hotel they have a lovely pool area and spa.
The hotel literally sits on the beach and it is hopping all day with tourists. The shopping mall is awesome! San Marino is a beautiful place to visit and have lunch. They also have local cheese and wine shops.

Hi, it is not. Many people don’t or come with partners or parts of their group who don’t cycle. It is a fantastic hotel and it it is a great holiday experience in a location that you can enjoy whether you cycle or not.

Hello. I am not sure - however our room which was a suite had a pull out couch in one room and a queen sized bed in the bedroom which might work for you.
