Villa Maria in Ravello was perfect. The staff was super nice and helped us park our car, the food was spectacular and they couldn't have been more helpful in every way. We enjoyed the views, the closeness to Amalfi and other parts of the coast and enjoyed an amazing classical concert and ceramics shopping. Must go to hotel!

This hotel has it all: comfortable beds, private terraces overlooking the Mediterranean, an unbelievable breakfast buffet and a terraced dining room that offers a million euro view with food to match. The staff is friendly and remembers repeat customers. Located just far enough away from the central piazza to feel tucked away but still close enough for several visits a...

Beautiful boutique hotel on the Amalfi coast. Beautiful views of the sea from the hotel terraces. Located 7 km from Amalfi (city). Hotel is pricey, but worth it for those special occasions. Easily reached from Salerno or Amalfi. Food is good and one of the few places remains open after 6:00 or 7:00 pm Breakfast is excellent, providing one with...

This is a tourist trap for weddings, particularly popular with brits. There are so many extra costs that finally, you just feel fooled. Example - if you wish to have your own dj, you still have to pay a fee to the nephew of the owner in order for him to "check the music". Ridiculous.

Perfetto! This was my second stay at the lovely Villa Maria...and it certainly won't be my last! The hotel is on a quite lane with beautiful views of the Mediterranean. Upon entering, you are transported to a peaceful, romantic oasis with Italian music softly wafting throughout this divine setting. The restaurant has magnificent views of the hillsides rolling down to...

The hotel is about a mile from the center of Amalfi and ferry port. It's about a mile west along the coast road. The walk along the road is not very pleasant. If you turn right out of the hotel, there's a stairway (without about 160 steps) that takes you too a path you can use to get to town...

We stayed at the Villa Maria as part of a self-guided hiking trip and this was a magical spot! It is simply perfect. We were in Room 5 which had a balcony overlooking the restaurant and distant views to the sea. The room was large with high ceilings and a lovely chandelier. The bathroom was big with local flowered tiles....

What a tranquil and stunning place. We were in Ravello for just 3 nights to get ideas and see venues for our wedding in 2017, one of our choices was to have our wedding meal at Villa Maria after a ceremony at the town hall. We'd seen the venue in the daytime with our planners but booked ourselves in to...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Situated in the historic centre between the Clarisse nunnery and S. Francis Convent, in a restful aristocratic area so much as to be chosen, the only hotel in the area, by the French guide-book "Relais du Silence" as an oasis of peace and by the Italian "Charme e Relax" as Ravello's pearl. Villa Maria assures his guests in addition to maximum tranquillity also the most services including the parking of nearby Hotel Giordano (of the same property) where it is possible to park for free the car and take advantage of free luggage handling and of the swimming pool (parking and swimming pool situated at the sister HOtel Giordano, approx. 5 Minutes walking distance). Rich and interesting is the history of this villa which was roman noble Marquis de Cinque family's manor, an history which blends with Ravello's and the Amalfi Coast's. The structure, while preserving the elegant forms of a lordly mansion, in the years has undergone noteworthy redecorations which have fashioned its actual splendour. ... more   less
