My wife and I travelled through Italy ending up in here. Everything about this place is paradise. The staff couldn’t do enough for us. Very clean, daily cleaning of room, bed sheets changed daily. A real homely feel and personal service. The only drawback is it felt a little isolated from anything apart from a shop and a restaurant. Nothing to do with the actual accommodation though. A perfect break at a reasonable price for the level of service and stunning location.

Our stay was absolutely fantastic due to the warm service we received from Emily and Daniela. Nothing was too much trouble and we are grateful for their advice on the local area and help with our bookings. The room was spotless, as was the entire property. Breakfast was great and I especially loved the choices that came straight from their garden. The room was quite small with our four large bags but we still wouldn’t change. The balcony views were amazing. One thing you need to keep in mind when visiting this area is there are no flat paths. That means getting luggage down reasonably steep paths into the villa. There are even more steps in the villa so pack lightly! It is not unique to this villa but I think people underestimate life on the side of these mountains. As with all accomodation in the area, they aren’t hotels so there isn’t staff to carry your bags for you. There isn’t much in the way of taxis so be prepared to walk or wait for the bus. This villa is close to the bus stop, a grocery store, cafe and several great restaurants. Hospitality and warmth really made us feel at home and relaxed.

First off I’d like to say that Daniela was amazing. She always had a smile on her face and her mood was always HAPPY. She must really love her job. She was very professional but yet personable and made myself and my daughter feel at home. Daniela greeted us every morning with a cup of coffee and always remembered what we wanted. The room was clean. Breakfast area was clean. Private’s terrace was clean. The grounds were clean. Let’s just say the entire place sparkled like a diamond. Emily and the housekeeper were great too. I will return next year and I hope Daniela is still working with the hotel.

Such a picturesque setting and pretty grounds. We loved spending time by the pool with its stunning views and charm, and the service from Emily who hosted us was so friendly and absolutely faultless! The only word of advice I would say (but this is more about Praiano than our hotel), is that it is VERY steep and hilly and we expected to be able to readily get taxis when we didn’t feel like walking up from the beach but taxis weren’t readily available and were very expensive. This hotel (like most in Praiano is quite high up) so a big walk up from the beach. Taxis were more to be used as transfers among the towns

We had an amazing stay at Villa Gianlica. It was perfect. The view, the room with the balcony, the pool, the breakfast, the location... it exceeded my expectations. I celebrated my birthday during our stay and i’m really happy I picked this hotel! The staff helped my boyfriend with a flower bouquet. It’s nice that you can chill by the pool during the day and spent the evening on your balcony after. The food and drinks are good too. Try the Lemon Spritz and the fresh lemon juice! Daniela was super sweet and gave us a personalized service. Amazing restaurants around. I would recommend staying in Praiano and staying at this hotel! Would love to come back!
