Breakfast in the morning on the sea view terrace is exciting.
The rooms are simple but with all the amenities, waking up in the morning with such a view is priceless.
This time we were lucky enough to also know the owner, simple and sunny person who loves his work, gave us great advice on boat trips and restaurants.
At Maliosa b&b we felt like home and will definitely return.
We highly recommend it.
If you need to dine at a great restaurant outside the hotel they will set up a shuttle to take you. Highly recommend!

The pictures for the cheapest room are actually the suite. The cheap rooms are tiny, the bathroom is even smaller. The bed.......forget it. The room was TERRIBLE.
When we asked about this, they said we could have the suite (pictured for our room) for $200 USD more per night. We checked out immediately, they refused to refund us.
Also you are not walking distance to Positano as they claim. it's a dangerous road with lots of traffic. 30 minute + walk.
1. Taxi driver Fabio drove like his hair was on fire passing people on two wheels, grunting and cussing in Italian while he talked about us in Italian to his girlfriend- not knowing we know Italian. When we arrived he refused to take our CC even though I asked before we booked him. When we arrived he asked for a tip over and over. A real piece of work. So NO FABIO.
2. We carried our bags down the stairs and 5 stairs from the bottom they stopped us and said “our boy” will get that- we were confused, but realized on check out they charge $5 per bag to bring them down the stairs. They charge for everything. The only thing they don’t charge for is the crap breakfast. Stale bread, grocery store muffins and good ole Felix, the gruff and rude, fast talking owner.
3. Location. It sucks. It’s quiet because it’s literally far away from Positano on a VERY dangerous road with no sidewalk. Felix will tell you it’s no big deal, but it is. If you want to eat at a normal time you need a $30 taxi back to the room. The street at night is a death trap.
4. The beach. Don’t bother. It’s a small lagoon beach with exorbitant prices. The beach is dirty and nothing at all like the beaches in other parts. Go to posit proper to swim.
5. Summary. Don’t book this hotel. Spend the extra money and book in Positano or closer to town. 1000 stairs would be better than this!!

Our hosts Ana and Felix were so awesome, friendly, provided great service and very helpful. There were lots of great options for breakfast. The rooms were great, they have a mini bars, a nice little sitting area in front of the rooms that provided a beautiful view of the ocean, also, a sitting area where you can buy drinks at their bar.
It was just a short walk into the main area where there was lots of shopping and restaurants. I would highly recommend this B and B for your next vacation stay.
