We loved our stay here. Our room was simple but large and clean with a lovely terrace/garden area overlooking the sea. Felix was incredibly helpful with all of our requests and each night sent us to a different restaurant for absolutely delicious dinners. All we had to do was let him know what time we wanted to eat and he organized the place and free shuttles to take us there and back. Anna was delightful as was Seco. On our first day here Anna made a last minute lunch for us: a fish dish that was fresh and delicious, accompanied by a simple and yummy salad. The beach access is fantastic. It is definitely a good walk down and up but well worth it. The location of the hotel is ideal-easy walk into town but so nice to be away from the crowds. I’m not sure why people give this place negative reviews. I was nervous about what we would find after reading what others had to say. Fortunately I listened to the good reviews and am really happy we chose this as our base in the Amalfi Coast. It’s a perfect, simple, clean, easy, charming spot with stunning views and a staff that made our stay in Positano really memorable and special. If you are looking for good value, great staff, stunning views, beach access, a great location that offers a bit of quiet and a memorable stay in Positano then this is your place!

We returned to this b&b after two years and like the first time we were enchanted by the view, the beautiful gardens. The staff was amazing and helped us in every request.
Breakfast in the morning on the sea view terrace is exciting.
The rooms are simple but with all the amenities, waking up in the morning with such a view is priceless.
This time we were lucky enough to also know the owner, simple and sunny person who loves his work, gave us great advice on boat trips and restaurants.
At Maliosa b&b we felt like home and will definitely return.

We highly recommend it.

Great food, great views and Felix and Ana were great to deal with and made our stay really enjoyable.
If you need to dine at a great restaurant outside the hotel they will set up a shuttle to take you. Highly recommend!

SCAM! Before you book, look at the 1 star reviews and the owners responses. This will tell you the kind of person you are dealing with.

The pictures for the cheapest room are actually the suite. The cheap rooms are tiny, the bathroom is even smaller. The bed.......forget it. The room was TERRIBLE.

When we asked about this, they said we could have the suite (pictured for our room) for $200 USD more per night. We checked out immediately, they refused to refund us.

Also you are not walking distance to Positano as they claim. it's a dangerous road with lots of traffic. 30 minute + walk.

This place is a disappointment from the recommendation of a taxi driver to the paper thin walls and EVERYTHING in between.
1. Taxi driver Fabio drove like his hair was on fire passing people on two wheels, grunting and cussing in Italian while he talked about us in Italian to his girlfriend- not knowing we know Italian. When we arrived he refused to take our CC even though I asked before we booked him. When we arrived he asked for a tip over and over. A real piece of work. So NO FABIO.
2. We carried our bags down the stairs and 5 stairs from the bottom they stopped us and said “our boy” will get that- we were confused, but realized on check out they charge $5 per bag to bring them down the stairs. They charge for everything. The only thing they don’t charge for is the crap breakfast. Stale bread, grocery store muffins and good ole Felix, the gruff and rude, fast talking owner.
3. Location. It sucks. It’s quiet because it’s literally far away from Positano on a VERY dangerous road with no sidewalk. Felix will tell you it’s no big deal, but it is. If you want to eat at a normal time you need a $30 taxi back to the room. The street at night is a death trap.
4. The beach. Don’t bother. It’s a small lagoon beach with exorbitant prices. The beach is dirty and nothing at all like the beaches in other parts. Go to posit proper to swim.
5. Summary. Don’t book this hotel. Spend the extra money and book in Positano or closer to town. 1000 stairs would be better than this!!

Seven of us from Canada thought this B and B was fantastic, amazing view, the grounds are well groomed.

Our hosts Ana and Felix were so awesome, friendly, provided great service and very helpful. There were lots of great options for breakfast. The rooms were great, they have a mini bars, a nice little sitting area in front of the rooms that provided a beautiful view of the ocean, also, a sitting area where you can buy drinks at their bar.
It was just a short walk into the main area where there was lots of shopping and restaurants. I would highly recommend this B and B for your next vacation stay.

Booked through Expedia on free cancellation basis. Forced to cancel but hotel took €50 from my account and still haven't refunded after nearly 4 weeks. Only contactable by telephone. Be very cautious with this property and your bank details. If a refund is received I will delete this post.

What a beautifull place to stay!!, a lovely room with terras and seavieuw, a private beach and a beautiful terrasgarden where one can have a lovely breakfast, lunch or diner, which you can order at the last moment, no problem, they even prepared a snack for my hungry son late in the evening. But above all the staf; Felix and the others really did all their best to provide us a super pleasant stay and we had real fun together, thank you for everything!!, your smile, you warm welcome and a big bag of oranges and lemons which were given to us when we left. Really can recommend this beautiful place and the people, I for sure hope to return here someday! Greetings Teun and Clair

Great value for money, lovely breakfast area and the proximity to the beach is a great plus. Also very nice views of the Mediterranean. The serenity of this place is appreciated especially if you are in Positano during peak season.
