We stayed the last 2 days in positano and the merincanto made us feel so special. It was by far the best stay during our 2 week Italy tour. - thx Antonella for helping us arrange the room for our 2 day stay ! - the man at the front desk covering evenings was fantastic. Always a smile, very helpful...

Incredible hotel, location and staff. Very friendly, helpful and caring employees. Always greeted us with a smile, always quick to give directions, make reservations or provide any assistance we needed. We enjoyed the hotel and all of its amenities. Highly recommended. Enza, Antonella, Gianni and staff were great!!!

Trying to decide how to write this review. I'll start with the good -- the service was very good, especially Gionni, who serves on the terraces and at the pool. The food service was very good (I'm sorry, there were a couple of ladies and I forgot their names). The desk wasn't overly attentive, but helpful when needed. We had...

We spent 4 nights at the Marincanto, late August-early September and just loved it. From the minute Antonella checked us in, we were always received with huge smiles and great advice on restaurants, excursions, transportation, etc. Enza and Giovanni were also amazing! As others have stated, the Marincanto is in the perfect location, high on the cliffs to take advantage...

I recently stayed here for 4 nights and everything about this place was amazing. Firstly the location was perfect. It is located on the cliff top so the rooms look over to the cliffside with all the buildings and the church and the beach below The hotel has a pool and also the beach below which can be accessed via...

Our holiday was a long-planned trip for my 50th birthday. It was our first visit to Italy and it was just me, my husband and our 10 year old son. We had 5 weeks away beginning in Paris and driving across to Italy from the north - our final and longest destination was Positano where we spent 11 glorious nights...

We stayed here for our honeymoon at the begining of August. From the moment we arrived we knew we made the right decision. The rooms were big and clean with a balcony overlooking the stunning view. The daily breakfast buffet was fresh and delicious. The infinity pool was divine and so relaxing. But what makes this hotel stand out was...

Stayed here for a week in August, and the hotel is fantastic. Room was big, and the view was amazing. Staff were all very friendly, spoke good english, very helpfull and accomadating. While not to detract from any of the other staff, the young gentelman that works the pool area (Gianni) may be the nicest and hardest working person in...

Don't hesitate, check out this 4 star hotel where the staff seems to own the place. They are all eager to please every single customer, their needs and wants, it's amazing! Several little terraces, great sun chairs and umbrellas, a swimmingpool in another area - you're never "bothered" by noise or guests sitting too close. The settings: gardens, flowers, trees....

A true gem in positano, probably the only one with direct access to the beach (although be warned: 270 steps from the lobby to the beach- dont go to positano if you cant handle lots of steps). All the restaurant and beach recommendations from francesco and antonella and the other lovely girl at the reception were spot on. Definitely in...
