It was about a 10 minute walk, downhill, from the main bus stop in Positano, at Chiesa Nuova, to Dimora del Podesta (don't trust online maps to pinpoint the place accurately - try looking for Grotta di Fornillo instead and head downhill for less than a minute from there). I was warmly welcomed by the affable owner, and host, Pietro... More

We stayed here with our young baby, everything was perfect and we really appreciate the extra arrangements made to help us. The restaurant below is wonderful and all the staff brilliant. Dimora is our favourite place to stay and we look forward to returning again!

A gorgeous B&B run by a beautiful friendly and helpful family - close to all amenities - the rooms are gorgeous and spacious and the restaurant downstairs was so good it was hard to try anything else as the food was 5* - traditional, clean and very reasonably priced. Pietro, Elias and family were most accomodating and very helpful in... More

We can't thank Pietro and his family enough for the giving us the most sublime 3 night stay in the beautiful coastal town of Positano. Stooped in history, the quiet but wonderfully furnished 3 bedroom B&B was everything we'd wished for on our honeymoon, particularly the balcony, which allowed us to sip Prosecco and people watch in the cool evening.... We stayed at this amazing B&B for 3 nights while we were visiting the Amalfi coast and it was one of the highlights of this trip. Pietro the owner/manager is a great host and a fantastic advice giver. From the minute we booked, he reached out with a very detailed email which answers any question you might have from the... Staying here really made our holiday! I've visited positano several times and, with those coastal views, most hotels are beautiful. But dimora Del podesta' was definitely the best find. The hosts are truly charming, warm, genuine people, who really cared about our stay (without being in any way intrusive). Our room was more spacious than any I've stayed in before,... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Dimora del Podesta. My husband and I hadn't booked accommodation in Positano so we parked our car in a car park and got ready to start out search. Dimora del Podesta was right next to the car park so we rang the bell and that is when we were greeted by Pietro a lovely... More

Great B&B located in mid-town Positano, about a 10 minute walk downhill from the Chiesa Nuova SITA bus stop, or a 15 minute walk uphill from the center of Positano, the ferry stop and the beach. Pietro is an exceptionally engaged host- offering to assist in any way with transportation, restaurant reservations, sightseeing plans, etc. He coordinated our transfer to... More
