My friend and I arrived via train from Florence to Salerno, then caught the bus from Salerno to Amalfi, changed and caught the bus from Amalfi to Positano arriving around 7.30 at night. The staff at Villa Rosa were so lovely, could see we were tired and needed to go out for dinner. They booked us a lovely table on...

If you're staying in Positano - just pay up and get an ocean view room, it is worth the money. You must also stay at Villa Rosa. We stayed 4 nights in the double ocean view room on the first floor. Got the 1hr bus from Sorrento to 'La Sponda' (the main Positano stop) and Villa Rosa is only a...

My husband and I spent the first part of our honeymoon at Villa Rosa. It is a wonderful place. The location is perfect, close enough to the beach and shops below, but high enough for peace, quiet and beautiful views from your large private balcony. Breakfast there in the morning is a real treat, not to mention plentiful and delicious....

The Villa Rosa is an enchanting hotel in a truly magical town. It is in the perfect location with close proximity to the main piazza beach while still allowing amazing views from the terraces. The staff could not have been more accommodating or pleasant. They arranged for a car to pick us up in Naples and were wiating for us...

Our room at the Villa Rosa had spectacular sea views and the location just opposite the Sirenuse was unbeatable....at a quarter the price of the latter. Yes, there were some stairs but they were manageable; the staff were helpful and overall we were v happy with the Villa Rosa.

Location is great (just across Le Sirenuse and 5 minutes feom hydrofoil). View from room 35 just breathtaking and breakfast in the room is very romantic. Service from reception is 5 stars and they even brought is early breakfast the day we left. Rooms are just ok. The only reason I don't give 5 stars is because of the outdated...

Loved our stay here, we were on the first floor but could still see the ocean (partially) and city from our balcony which got lovely sun. You can walk everywhere from here, beach, shops, restaurant etc. Breakfast was wonderful, very good quality croissants and jams, though a choice of cereals other than cornflakes would have been good. Staff were excellent...

Egads!! Did I stay in the same place that the whiners who gave bad reviews? Our room on the second floor 29 was great as was the terrace. Yes the bathroom was small but just how much time do these whiners spend in there. To complain about bending over in the bath---try losing some weight. The stairs??? Our luggage was...

Stayed 4 nights in September and enjoyed our stay thoroughly. The helpful, cheery staff, clean room, prime location close to the beach/main street are the top reasons for staying at this inn. Avoid rm22 however as the incredible veiw of the sea is significantly blocked by the hotel below and the 1st floor inhabitants are subject to being woken every...

My husband and I stayed here last year. There is nothing bad to say, absolutely loved it. We travelled around Europe for 3 months and stayed in great places around Europe and this was one of my favorites. Very romantic. Thank you, I can't wait to come back.
