Wonderfull setting. Simple rooms, delicious breakfast, friendly hosts, lovely lunches near the pool. Little private beach. Host gave us good tips for excursions and restaurants. Early reservation is a must.

Seriously, I almost cried when I left this place. It was just magical, from the grounds to the warm and loving family running the place. I wanted to ask them to adopt me. The breakfast was an embarrassing feast, and they have their own beach AND saltwater pool. The rooms were simple, as they are in moderately-priced Italian accommodations, but...

I don't know why I never reviewed La Fenice until now. My husband and I stayed with this family while we were in Positano for a few days during our honeymoon in the summer of 2015. The entire team was helpful, welcoming, and went above and beyond to make all of their guests feel like family! Still almost two years...

We have just spent four nights there and were amazed at the views and the facilities. They have beautiful views and a lovely breakfast with a gorgeous pool and their own private Beach - incredible. Quite a few steps but apart from that is was wonderful

PROS: B&B is owned and managed by a very nice family. Also, the staff is very friendly. Most rooms have large balcony with stunning views. The breakfast is delicious with fresh fruits. The facility has private pool and beach. You may walk to Positano in 5 minutes. CONS: Wifi is on only in breakfast area, no wifi in the rooms....

Lovely hotel walking distance from Positano. Decoration is old and bedding is sub par. But the view is fantastic and the location is perfect. Very good service and nice breakfast. Be prepared to climb stairs up and down the cliff. All in all great value for money.

Waking up at La Fenice in Positano is proof that you've made a least a few good choices in life. La Fenice feels like an Italian verison of Downton Abbey - glamorous views, generously-sized homey rooms and the best breakfast view you will ever ever have. The family is friendly, engaging and possess a wealth of knowledge about the area...

My only regret is that we did not stay more than 3 nights. La Fenice is family run, Constantino, Angela, Jacomo, Julio run a wonderful B&B overlooking the beautiful Mediterranean Sea. Some rooms are built into the cliifs, with terraces overlooking an incredible view, Be warned that there are many steps going up to the road, down to the private...

Should you be visiting Positano, this is definitely a great place to stay. As with many places in this area, there are A LOT of stairs, so be prepared, but the staff are incredibly friendly, and the owners make a lot of effort to get to know you on a personal level. Depending on the room you get, you may...
