Location, location, location... right in the middle of Positano. It's a beautiful boutique hotel just high enough to see the beautiful city and low enough to hit the shops and the beach. We met Carla via WhatsApp when we booked on Expedia and she took care of EVERTHING for our visit. She helped us book our car from Naples, dinner reservations, to chairs/umbrella on the beach. We were greeted with Procecco and fruit in our room and she even provide cappuccino and pastries to our private table in front of our room. Our room had all the amenities and kept us cool during the hot day/night. They also went the extra mile by setting up our breakfast on the beach the next day. I can't say enough about Carla and the Villa Dalu, we definitely will be back!

We stayed in villa dalu for two days and we had a very good time in this villa. They have the best view that you can get and It has a huge space to just sit and enjoy the view where you can enjoy ur coffee and relax. The breakfast area is also very spacious and clean and has a very lovely view from there too. You can go to the beach very easily by walk and explore the place around as this villa is sitauted right in the centre which makes it very convenient to go to the beach and other restaurants. The room although was very small but had all the basic things that you need. They offer unlimited coffee and other beverages like juice and water too which was very generous as i didnt get this service from any other hotel italy. Shoutout to carla for being the best host and taking care of all our needs and managing everything so well.

We stayed at this villa for our 10 year wedding anniversary and it was absolutely amazing and such an incredible time. This villa has a host and she takes care of all operations, her name is Carla she was amazing, a gem of a human to be honest. She was pleasant to organise and book with. She was resourceful she helped us from A to Z with reservations and any question we had about the area. She arranged transport to pick us up from our previous hotel as well as transport to bring us to our next hotel after our stay, she offered us restaurant ideas and her breakfasts in the morning was so delicious. This villa is perfectly placed in my opinion in order to access the beach, the shops and the restaurants. The room was very clean and always smelled amazing. The bed and bedding was comfy. I highly recommend this place if ever visiting Positano.

Phew, where do you start here?!
For a price of €550/night you are simply speechless and horrified at the same time.
We have traveled all over the world as a couple over the last 10 years and I am not exaggerating when I say that we have never had a worse price-performance ratio for over €500 (!!!) per night.
The operator Carla is clearly trying hard and this starts before you even arrive. They try to arrange private boat tours (for €2,000/day), which we later got on the beach for €500. After not responding to such "offers", you have to carry your suitcases yourself (not by a porter as promised) from the parking garage to the accommodation. Where you literally arrive. Accommodation. Very modest accommodation for €550 per night. Instead, there is a room with a single small window (without a tilt function), no closet (you live out of a suitcase), a bathroom with mold and missing joints, a shower the size of a mobile home shower, no storage space for bathroom utensils, a bathroom without ventilation or windows, a roaring refrigerator in the room that, together with the snoring neighbor, robs you of sleep (soundproofing is practically non-existent), a bathroom mirror that only works for people up to 160cm tall, no full-length mirror and no makeup mirror, etc. etc. The list of shortcomings that must be a given in such a price category would be endless.

What is worth mentioning are the very comfortable mattresses.
On which you sleep very well (if the sensitive acoustics allow it).

Speaking of sleep:
As of 7 a.m., sleep is over.
Either the room neighbors are already awake or you can hear Carla preparing breakfast in the kitchen-dining-living room directly connected to the rooms. That's as far away from a breakfast that's adequate for the price segment as the earth is from the moon.

As mentioned, Carla tries very hard, but to be honest, she could never compensate for the disappointment of such a disproportion in price-performance.

Take a look at the pictures and decide for yourself whether that's what 550€/night looks like.

Basically, it seems to be a big problem with the place, which, apart from the extremely noteworthy cuisine, isn't really as special as it's portrayed on social media. Extremely overcrowded, total chaos and often understandably annoyed locals.

We're definitely not coming back.

Villa Dalu was a beautiful location however the host, Carla, was extremely unwelcoming to our group. Unfortunately she negatively impacted our time in Positano due to various reasons such as giving us incorrect information regarding city tax, providing incorrect quotes for transfers and her overall demeanor when conversing with us. To top it off, once we checked out she sent an unknown man down to our group of females with a mobile phone to speak to her on the other end. She was screaming at us saying we owed more city tax even though we had confirmation in writing of the total prior to check out and left the amount accordingly. We believe this was because we did not leave her a tip.

Once we checked out we raised our concerns with the owners of Villa Dalu regarding their host and they were completely dismissed.

We felt extremely uncomfortable during the entirety of our stay at Villa Dalu. I would highly recommend staying elsewhere to ensure you have a positive experience while staying in Positano.

Hotel located with postcard views of Positano, simply beautiful. Breakfast served on the patio overlooking a lush and magnificent landscape. Close to the port and the main beach of positano. As it is at the top, there are several restaurants nearby.

We booked our stay in Positano at the Villa Dalu. I looked at locations and reviews online, and needed a 2-room suite that slept a family of 4. I booked via Booking.com and from that moment never regretted choosing. I shortly received an e-mail from the hostess Carla... who is a gem herself! Over the weeks between booking and our arrival, Carla assisted me immensely (via WhatsApp). She helped me book transportation from Rome (MyPositanoLimo... Biagio was the perfect driver/guide), recommend and made us dinner reservations, and a day boat rental to Capri (on LuxuryBoatsPositano.... which was amazing!). Small villa with personal concierge! When we finally arrived everything was perfect. It was 90+ degrees outside during our trip and I was worried about European A/c, but our rooms were cool, crisp, clean and just what we needed. The location is perfect. Very close to the central "square" where the main/only road in Positano meets the walking path to the beach. Very quiet location, with a veranda for breakfast that overlooked the cathedral and beach (On 2 occasions I saw professional photographer try to sneak in with a bride/groom to use the view for wedding photos). Overall, great villa in central area of Positano. Can't wait until we can come back to visit !

Posizione ottima, in centro, a pochi passi dal mare ma allo stesso tempo in zona tranquilla e riservata.
Colazione sulla spaziosa terrazza con vista su Positano.
