I would recommend taking the ferry from Sorrento. The ferry is only a few blocks from the train station and it's a beautiful ride along the coast. It'll drop you in Positano and then you can take a bus towards Priano or if you have luggage, you can take a cab to the hotel. The cab cost us 20 Euro.
