Check in was smooth, staff was incredible…especially Hani and Carla! Hani set us up with a great wine tasting, suggested a church tour and even gave us a ride one day…above and beyond. The rooms were spacious (three of us in one), with a gorgeous balcony view…and really intimate with only a handful of rooms in the hotel. Literally nothing wrong with this place.

The hotel was nice overall, but definitely not worth the price you are paying. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast at the hotel wasn’t a good experience - very average and nothing fresh. It was prepared by the receptionist and you didn’t have a choice of what you are being served.

It was a great hotel very beautiful and lovely view. Hani the concierge went above and beyond multiple times to ensure we had a great stay. She was very knowledgeable of the whole area and ensured we had the best of the best the whole time. Carla who worked there also was very helpful. I would stay there again for the rooms the views but most importantly the service

Unfortunately, our stay was disappointing so I cannot recommend this property until significant improvements are made.
Check-in was easy and we made our way to our triple Junior Suite where we quickly discovered that the bathroom sink was leaking all over the floor and the shower only had hot water. When we awoke after the first night, the smell of sewage was incredibly strong in the room. We advised the staff of all of these issues and they were remedied when the room was cleaned that morning. Two mornings later the smell was back, so strong that two of the three of us felt nauseous for a few hours that morning. When we alerted the staff this time, we were moved to another room, so we were very thankful for that.
This second room, however, still had the sewage smell (not as strong, but it was there) so we determined this must just be an issue with this property. The heater would not turn down so the second day, they had someone come in to repair it. It worked ok for the first few hours and then, in the middle of the night, it was on again somehow and we all woke up sweating. This necessitated leaving the balcony door open (no screen so not the most comfortable way to sleep with your child) and small fans that we had with us pulling in the cooler outside air for the entirety of our stay as the heat was just blasting and the staff could not figure out how to turn it off/down.
The staff is very nice and do their best, but this property feels like it's not ready for guests yet, particularly at nearly $500 per night.

Dear Guest, we are sorry to read your feedback . The nearby working on the road had causes our property this damage, and we apologies for that.Saying that the structure is not ready to host customers is an unmotivated offense. Stating the good things first, optimal location and quality of the rooms. I stayed at the king suite (c.500€/night) and customer service at breakfast was proper of a 2* hotel. The girl at reception desk, was the cooker and the waiter at the same time. It was very inefficient and she even had a bad reaction with me when she brought scrambled eggs that I did not order as they were not included in the room price.
Also, I was expecting to stay at Conca d’Oro as I booked the room through their website. I was not told that the room was in a separate building until I booked and paid for the room. Really frustrating bearing in mind that La Bizantina was understaffed.
I don’t think I will come back to this hotel.

Perfect hotel. Our room was clean and beautiful. The view of positano was the best. Our bed was SO comfortable and the room decor is so romantic. What made this hotel most special is the girl at reception, she is kind and helpful and made our stay.

We stayed here for 3 nights and absolutely enjoyed our stay. The rooms are beautiful and charming with amazing views of the sea and Positano. We stayed in a double room with sea view - you have access to a lovely terrace with places to sit and lounge. Currently guests have to share a bathroom but it’s large and very clean. But we were told they’re renovating over the winter off season and every room will have its own bathroom. This hotel is about a 15 - 20 min walk from the port and main square which means it’s a quieter/less crowded area. The walk has great views the whole way. There is a regular bus service to the main area if you don’t want to walk. There are great restaurants around here as well which are cheaper since less touristy. The people who own Hotel Conca D’oro also own this so you get to enjoy your breakfast at that hotel in a dining room with great views. You also have access to other amenities at that hotel. Hotel Conca D’oro is about a 5 minute walk from here. We hope to stay here again one day!

This beautiful boutique hotel (only 4 rooms in all!) is highly worth it.
The service was phenomenal (don’t miss out on breakfast on the terrace). First night we were super jet lagged and Antonio set us up with a local reservation right away.
It’s only a 15min walk to town (yes, lots of steps, but if you’re considering Positano, you know this already) as you wind among some amazing old world street labyrinths.
We drove to Positano from the Naples airport, and parking was just down the road (500-1000 meters) and cost 40 euros per day.
Pro tip: set your alarm so you wake up early to watch the sunrise creep over the mountains and light up the houses around you. You won’t regret it!
Grazie, La Bizantina!
