The place is located high up, a position that is not very easy, considering that to reach it there are inevitably (being an island) stairs and steep climbs. Breakfast is included in the price, offering an assortment of (I think) homemade desserts plus croissants to fill. They can offer drinks ranging from fruit juices to cappuccino and have all kinds of condiments for breakfast. The structure offers a hydromassage for everyone.
The room is ready and clean in order upon arrival.
Putting aside the walkability, if you decide to book in this place you will be rewarded by a breathtaking view where you can see a part of the port and the island in length, in all its forms.

Signora Ersilia and her staff are wonderfully kind and helpful. Her Villa is a simple and relaxing get-a-way on the equally relaxing island of Ponza. Like spending a weekend as a guest in a friends home.
The walk to the villa is a bit of a work-out but the island is best enjoyed by the slightly more adventurous. The view is priceless. And if you're not careful you might not want to leave the patio and explore the islands charm up close.
I'll be returning, as several of the other guests I met there had already done. Grazie mille Ersilia!

We visited Ponza for the first time in July. Villa Ersilia and Ponza are my daughter and son in laws favorite places on earth. They wanted to share this amazing place with us by getting married right here. What and amazing , beautiful place!! Pictures don’t do it justice . Just breath taking. The terraces overlooking the sea are beautifully landscaped and generous in size. There is a lot of room outside for all guests to either mingle together or find a quiet private area to view the beauty. The owner was so very generous and wonderful to work with . The breakfast was yummy. The rooms were large and nicely appointed . The beds and linens are very comfortable. I loved everything about this property.... was perfect.

We stayed at Villa Ersilia in May and could not find a better place. The host Ersilia is very friendly and made us feel really at home. The location is great, near the city centre and the pier but very quiet and relaxing, away from the summer tourist hordes. The rooms are simple but very clean and you enjoy breathtaking sea views.
You have to walk up to get to the villa, but it's absolutely fine if you don't have to do it several times a day. At least it is a good excercise!
Will definitely stay here again next time we are in Ponza.

I stayed at villa Ersilia with my friend for a weekend in September and we loved our stay. They have terraces on multiple levels with amazing port views and a Jacuzzi on one of them. It is a steep walk up the port but totally worth it. The breakfast is good and the management is very helpful. I would definitely go back!

Exceeded our expectations! The existing pictures does not make this place justice! Nice room regarding this is Italy. The breakfast was classic italian (cofee and sweet things), but we got ”scrambled eggs”, salami and cheese when we asked for it. Plus for person who could do cappuccino and caffe latte in the breakfast room. Amazing views from veranda at breakfast!

This B&B is in an amazing location, with a breathtaking view of Ponza harbour. It takes some time (10-15' uphill) to reach on foot (especially with luggage) but one can also get a taxi. Breakfast is good with home-made pastries. Rooms were nice and very clean. Good service.

A small and relaxing Villa, perfect for our trip. On the top of the mountain, lovely view, cool and nice rooms and good service.
Nothing beats to sit out in the garden, reading a book, taking a glass of wine and enjoying the view! Service minded staff, perhaps a little small breakfast, very romantic place!
Highly recommended when visiting Ponza!

A little slice of paradise at a very reasonable price - out of season but when we were there the weather was bakingingly hot days and there are views to die for and bees buzzing around the size of butterflies - them too... Villa Ersilia - we miss you! We went to Ponza looking for an island escape from a pretty bad couple of days in a horrible hotel in a very wet and sodden Rome. We found that escape at Ersilia's!! It's a beautiful yellow villa on the hill above the port. There are gorgeous grounds and the rooms are fantastically well appointed. The host is marvellous and although the breakfasts are shall we say a little frugal - it's fine!! You have to walk up a very steep hill to get to the Villa and it's better not to eat so much at breakfast - probably! We stayed 6 nights and had the best time. It's soooooooooo relaxing here and you just have to visit to know what I mean! Please do!

Buona permanenza !!
