The Hotel Le Querce di Ponza is a Hotel that you can not help but recommend. First of all for the friendliness of the Owner, Domenico Scotti, born and raised on the island of which he is therefore able to provide all kinds of information, as well as valuable advice. This splendid location also enjoys a strategic position, as it is surrounded by a well-kept garden and is, at the same time, sufficiently far from the chaos of the many places on the island, although located a short distance from the port, the village and some coves within walking distance. The Hotel Le Querce is equipped with every kind of comfort and has a magnificent view of Ponza and, therefore, its colorful homes and its crystal clear sea. At the Hotel Le Querce every morning an excellent typically Italian breakfast is served, based on quality products and homemade desserts. In addition, in the evening you can dine inside its beautiful restaurant, thus experiencing local delicacies, mainly based on fish but, indeed, not only. For so many reasons Hotel Le Querce can not be considered an impeccable location from every Listing and, therefore, worthy of being recommended... A structure that, to be honest, is exceedingly excellent. I was last weekend with a group of hikers at the hotel. An exceptional applause to Domenico, illuminated lighthouse of the structure. In the trekking activity he accompanied us everywhere and his advice was always valuable. Hoteliers should all be like Domenico, in love with their work and their land. Let's keep in mind that the hotel is a 2 star and a little dated, however it is very clean with simple but refined dinner and breakfast, but the warmth and professionalism of the owner Domenico gives that something extra that the stars don't count. We were a group of 55 people, we found a place to sleep for everyone with the help of a B&B, but dinner all together!!! Excellent location!!! Domenico showed us all of Ponza on foot through paths, shortcuts and coves.. With the boat we reached the island of Zannone and went trekking... Wonderful holiday...highly recommend. Domenico is prepared, professional and cultured.....and has a big heart!!!

I spent one night in this hotel located in Santa Maria, 18 minutes walk and 3 bus stops from the port of Ponza. The structure is very dated, the rooms are very spartan, especially the bathroom. Unfortunately the mattress is very hard and I struggled to sleep. The windows creak and during the night it is very annoying to hear them opening and closing. Given the rich surrounding vegetation we found some bacarozzi in the room. The breakfast is very poor and forced by the staff who serves it. Ok it's a 2 star but a minimum of kindness and care would be appreciated. I honestly don't recommend it.

Structure located a real 5 minute drive from the port and easy to reach. Nearby there is a shuttle stop to reach the upper area. A stone's throw away there is 1 grocery store and tobacconist. Large and spotlessly clean rooms with air conditioning. Garden with beautiful swings. Excellent breakfast with tasty homemade cakes, yogurt, juices, cereals, gluten-free products. The owners make you feel at home. I will definitely come back
