For the second consecutive year I stayed with my wife at this property. Comfortable and central to moving around the island.
The owners are priceless people, always ready to solve any problem but above all friendly and approachable. Room and services related to the category to which the structure belongs and breakfast which proved to be varied and plentiful for the entire week of the stay. The hotel's strong point is certainly its location in the historic center of Ponza. Comfortable structure, modern rooms and good cleaning. Negative aspects are certainly the very poor breakfast, the Wi-Fi network which absolutely needs to be upgraded (we are in 2023) and the non-adjustable air conditioning.

Caring and family welcome. Comfortable and clean room with beautiful sea view and balcony. Practically downtown but not in the noisy area. Great breakfast and genuine. We had a great time and will return with great pleasure. Thank you.

The breakfast room sadly resembles a canteen, and the selection on offer, consisting mainly of tasteless croissants and mediocre coffee, does not meet expectations. Furthermore, the excessive cost of the stay amplifies the sense of deception.

My experience at the Hotel La Baia in Ponza was extremely disappointing. The value for money was completely unbalanced: we paid much more than what the hotel offered. From the moment of our arrival, we found ourselves faced with a structure that appeared old, neglected and poorly cared for.
I cannot help but strongly advise against this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and satisfying experience in Ponza.

We stayed at the hotel w family and friends not expecting much as we booked only a few weeks in advance. I would not recommend it. The showers one can barely stand in it and the shower head kept falling off, not just my room but my daughter’s too. they seem to ration the amount of shampoo and soap, no conditioner of course, could use better cleaning. The stained curtains fell on top of my daughter’s head and once they turned the electricity off in our room because they thought no one was there and left us in the dark until we walked downstairs because the phone was not working. The breakfast (this is in southern Italy land of great produce) was stale croissants. No WiFi in the rooms only in the lobby, and the food at their small restaurant inedible. It just felt like they could have not cared less. I could write much more but I think one gets the idea. Too bad because the location is good.

Possiamo anche noi scrivere quanto e di più, ma ci limitiamo solo nel dire che l'educazione è sempre bene accetta nel nostro hotel!!! Già dall'arrivo si "pretendeva" di prendere possesso delle camere alle ore 11,00 quando il check in è alle ore 14,00, per una forma di gentilezza vi è stato anticipato, almeno un grazie, complimenti!!! La tenda ben fissata al muro e stata scardinata dalle vostre figlie e non caduta come sostenete, forse pensavano di imitare Tarzan!!! che il portiere di notte proprio in quell'occasione, per il forte baccano che proveniva dalla camera, è salito più volte per chiedere gentilmente di far silenzio. Ma senza risultato. Non parliamo poi del giorno di partenza ( check out ore 10.30) bivaccati sul divano della hall fino alla partenza della nave ( ore 19,00) ed il bagno sempre della hall lasciato in uno stato pietoso. Booked a 4 day break to Ponza to get away from hustle of Rome. Wanted something central and have a spectacular view of the harbor and city. Hotel La Baia did not disappoint. First thing you will experience at this hotel is the friendliest service I have ever had from Anna at the front desk to the owner Roberto. We stayed on the top floor in Room #302 and had a breath taking view of the water from our balcony door. The sunrise was amazing each morning. Breakfast was included which was typical Italian/European with owner Roberto manning the expresso machine. The staff was always ready to offer advice on what and where to go on the island and we always felt so welcomed. The rooms are clean and comfortable. We will definitely be back.

The hotels has a very good location. Near to restaurants, boat rental companies, to the beach. Our room had a beautiful view to the sea. Insist on a room with a balcony. The rooms on the backside look to a wall unless you are on the 3rd level. The staff is very friendly and nice. Even most of them can not speak english, it was not difficult to communicate. The room was big enough and clean. The breakfast is OK.

The hotel is beautifully, simply furnished and very cosy. The room was lovely and the view was great.
The hotel is very conveniently situated next to the harbour.
Staff were very helpful, and the dinner was good.
Breakfast was only average - I suppose Italians just don't 'do' breakfast!

We stayed here in July 2011 and everything was just perfect. The view from our room was spectacular, specially at night, overviewing the harbour. A cute little hotel to pick as a romantic getaway. The owners themselves manage this hotel and these people know how to do their business! You can tell! Room was cozy and basical and a continental breakfast served every morning. A special thank goes to the owners that make us feel as home! We'll be back! Ponza is a special place!
