We spent 1 night in Hotel Valentino which was an excellent base to explore Orvieto. It is a mere 5 minute walk to the Duomo and only 2 minutes to the main shopping streets. There is parking available for reservation which was a plus for us (though enjoy driving through the narrow Orvieto streets). We had a cute quad attic...

The town itself is amazing and this hotel is just as quaint as the town itself. The hotel is small but well located. We took the shuttle from the funicular but realised it was walking distance from it .We were 4 adults and stayed in a quadruple room. It was a good sized room with a big bathroom. The breakfast...

Orvieto is nothing short of amazing - forget Assisi (full of tourists), the drive into the valley from the southwest is incredible, the whole valley opens out before you with the walled fortress of Orvieto looming from its rocky promontory - picture postcard perfect! The hotel is right smack in the middle of the village, parking is close, and costs...

My family and I stayed here for 4 nights in May. The hotel is in a nice location, away from the touristy area. They had a working lift and our room was big but completely outdated which could be quaint and charming but that was not the case with this room. There was no sound proofing whatsoever. The walls were...

Stayed here (in room 10) for three nights and quite enjoyed it. Hotel is located on a quiet side street off main Corso Cavour less than 5 minutes on foot from funicular and about the same to Duomo. Staff is welcoming and helpful, though English is rather limited. Room was small, but very clean and, though it faced the front,...

This is a very practical hotel close to the centre of Orvieto. The rooms were simple but clean and not too noisy. The internet was quite difficult to connect to but was not a major issue. The hotel is within easy walking distance of the funicular, the centre of town, and a variety of shops and restaurants. The owner was...

We found this hotel very convenient without being in the thick of tourist traffic. Our wheelchair user son was very well catered for, with an easy to use bathroom. But Maria, the owners wife, made it for us. She has a very friendly manner. She went well out of her way to help us, getting her husband to visit the...

We stayed here with friends during the weekend of Cantine Aperte...Open Cellars...at the end of May. It is a most comfortable smaller hotel, very clean with helpful staff. The location in the old centre is perfect for enjoying this delightful town. The location was also quiet for a good night's sleep. There is overnight & daytime pay parking available in...

The hotel served our purposes perfectly when we travelled with our grown son, 18 yr old daughter & her friend. The hotel was very comfortable, clean, spacious, centrally located & affordable given that we needed three rooms. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was included. The internet was spotty and that was a little frustrating- not sure why but...

Small hotel on a nice side street! The rooms are very comfortable and the staff is very helpful! The location is great for walking around Orvieto! The marble floors are fantastic! There are many fine restaurants in the vicinity of the hotel and the Duomo is very close.
