Our stay at this unique place on a hill-top not far from Rome started very well, as an upgrade to a suite with a view over the rooftops was offered. The service was very good and the advice concerning parking was also appreciated - use the nearby blue-lined spaces. Orvieto is well worth a visit given its special situation and...

This girl is located within an easy walk through the main shopping streets of Orvieto... once you get there. If you take a train or drop a rental car and take the venicular, you need to transfer to the bus and get off at the Duomo. From there, though, the hotel is a bit of a walk down the cobble...

My husband and I stayed two nights here in early April, 2017. We loved it! The room was spacious, nicely decorated, comfortable, and clean. The staff could not have been more gracious and helpful -- advice, maps, directions, whatever we needed. The breakfast was tasty, too. Orvieto is a small, quaint, interesting town. The hotel was very conveniently located; we...

While this is a four star hotel, the service is totally 5 star. We arrived from Florence and the hotel was very easy to find and well out of the ZTL. I forget to email in advance about parking BUT Jude took care of this parking our car for us. Jude totally went out of his way to make sure...

My wife and I spent 4 nights in Room 301. A beautiful view from our room, very nice accommodations, good breakfast, friendly staff and a great location - especially if you are getting in and out of the town with a car.

We had a suite on the second floor. Since my husband took ill with a cold, I was able to sleep on the sofa sleeper upstairs. It turned out to be perfect. Antonetta in housekeeping brought my husband water when she heared he was ill and brought in more tea. Nadia also asked about him and made sure he had...

Room type: Junior Suite The Good: Located right in the heart of Orvieto. Private, secure parking lot at a reasonable price (and, thankfully, outside of ZTL). Spacious bedroom and sitting room. The Bad: Terra cotta tile floors are probably great in the summer, but harsh on the feet in winter. Rugs or slippers would have made the rooms much more...

We booked a double and a single room for our stay. Both rooms were spacious and beautifully decorated. Although we arrived, to drop off our bags, well before noon on check-in day, we were assured our rooms would be ready within a half hour and served cappuccinos while we waited. At night the hotel was extremely quiet. Breakfast the next...

I loved spending two weeks in this welcoming and cozy hotel. It was small and had a familiar environment, all the employees were kind and helpful. Breakfast was delicious everyday and had a variety of options.

On the way from Basilicata to Milan, we decided to have a 1 night stopover in Orvieto, so the next day we would easily arrive in Milan; it's a long drive, but definitely doable, including stop overs in between to taste some wine to bring back home. I mean you're in Orvieto after all. Again the search started, and knowing...
