We got to La Chiusetta on our first night in Rome after looking in few agritursimo in the area. Paulo, the place owner was the one that greeted us when we came and immediately helped us to settle in. The farm is amazing and have few options for residence with in it. All looks like we imagine staying in a... More

This place should be avoided if you are traveling with kids. The owner watches children like a hawk. My 8 year old was playing on a dilapidated soccer table with the grand daughter of the owner. When he tried to retrieve the ball per the little girls instructions. it fell over and fell apart. When we left he ranted that... More

Coming from Sardegna for a 2 week honeymoon through Umbria and Tuscany before going back to Belgium. Arriving on a Monday afternoon after visiting the beautiful surroundings we are welcomed by the charming lady of the house. She shows us our greatly looking room before she offers us the option to stay and eat at the domain. Man we did... More

Driving into the farm is like driving through fairyland, forest then opening out to tranquil farmland. Views of Orvieto and 3 other hill towns, vineyards and olive groves. The peaceful sounds of birds and water falling nearby.add to the serenity of this place. Paolo's welcome is warm and friendly. The rooms very comfortable and spacious and the food tasty and... More

We loved everything but we do recommend checking with the host for very precise directions as this property is extremely challenging to find. Please don't let that dissuade you as it's WELL worth the effort ! We hope to return again within a year. The rural charm, the enchanting countryside, the very warm welcome by a charming & well-traveled host,... More

La Chiusetta is a world of its own- a beautiful and incredibly peaceful paradise. My parents and I arrived in mid-February of 2014 for a few nights while traveling south- Paolo and Sara welcomed us as family...even my dog. Paolo prepared wonderful meals for us and we spent a good amount of time wandering the grounds. It was very difficult... More

We stayed here with our 2 children for a week. The environment was very beautiful en quiet. We often took a walk on the large property with many olive trees and below there's a small road to a small cascade. Nature dominates here on the farmhouse. The pool was very child-friendly and there are many things to do for the... More

We stayed here for 2 nights along with our friends and had a very hard time leaving! The setting is just breathtaking! Views are gorgeous! So many hidden treasures on this property...from the olive groves to the bocci courts to the trellis' just starting to fill in with grape vines...after a long day of walking around Orvieto it was so... Arriving to this agritourism was like coming to paradise. At the end of a small road, La Chiusetta opens up with its meadows, old houses, olive groves and vineyards. It is a true haven for someone looking for peace and beauty. The owner, Signor Paolo, was very kind and offered us to taste his own wine. Unfortunately we did not... More

Paolo was a great host, very friendly and welcoming. Even though we came at the last minute at night and he wasn't expecting any guests that day as it was off-season, he cooked up a great dinner, with a bottle of "house wine" (made on the farm). The price was good, and the rooms were very comfortable. The surrounding nature... More
