We stayed in this place 2 night (Wednesday - Friday) and we were the only guests. Upon arrival, gate was closed and owner did not answer to our phone calls although we heard the phone ringing in his house twice. We could open a gate and go to the private house of the owner. Owner left his house and wE... More

A good example of how to dance on pinheads, all wrapped with shameful false claims, result of the classical frustration of who is in dead wrong. So let’s make an analysis in n.4 points, even to be honest toward the ones who are reading. 1) These “Gentlemen”, after six months from the booking and despite our informative emails (which we... My husband and I and our two travelling friends stayed at Corte Belvoir, a beautiful and lovingly restored property for 2 nights. It has that 'old world charm' feel yet the facilities here are quite modern. Alessandro and his wife (owners and managers) have done an amazing job restoring this ancient site. Corte Belvoir is set on a small hill... More

The Corte Belvoir is located only a few kms out of Norcia, Our host, Allessandro was waiting there for us, with a cheerful welcome, offering refreshments on arrival. This was a great start to a great stay. The property has been beautifully restored to carefully preserve its heritage charm. The WiFi worked well, with the occasional short dropout due to... More

Stayed here and found the hotel owner (not the wife) to be extremely dramatic and rude. he is so focussed on his house "rules" which are everywhere in the place, including the bedrooms, that it becomes hard to breathe and relax. hotel owner also has a temper. he is a very strange man that is over the top in "kindness"... We thanks so much “dolceitalia 1234” ??? for the edifying and detailed review. Sometimes we ask ourselves why some people hide themselves behind an anonymous nickname without publishing their real names and surnames….who knows, anyway. We can assert in all frankness that this person have had a total lack of respect towards this residence (which is a really proved and... More

This B&B, located in a beautiful corner in Norcia, was Absolutely Brilliant. The Guest House is in a deeply, respected ancient and sacred historical area. Extremely comfortable and quite clean. Breakfast was the basic sweet continental Italian one, which was delightful and plenty. With advanced notice and extra charge, the breakfast can be modified. The pleasant management and staff were... Clearly many people have enjoyed their stays at Corte Belvoir but our experience doesn’t match up. We found the theatrical, enthusiastic owner to be too inclined to high drama and hyperbole. Calling me sir was fine, but calling my wife princess after a minute’s acquaintance was cringeworthy... Soon after, having taken a drink out to the patio area, I was... More

First of all we thank you for the great example of finesse and fairness of these Gentlemen. Rarely it happens to have such guests of class and bright people like them here at Corte Belvoir. One of the most interesting places we have stayed in Italy. This b&b is just a wonderful place to stay! We stayed only two nights and we wished we stayed more! The view is amazing and the room was spacious and sparkling clean.
