My husband and I loved staying at Villa Cicolina. The grounds are absolutely gorgeous and the staff extremely pleasant and accommodating. We stayed for 4 nights on our honeymoon and this was our first trip to Italy. We had the Il Balcone suite which was a sizable bedroom, living room and bathroom with a balcony overlooking the countryside. We took... More

This place was awesome ... absolutely beautiful setting, nice cottage with 2 rooms / 3 beds for the three of us, perfect location (we had a car and went to town, Pienza and Montelcino), very helpful staff, nice breakfast (we had dinner out) and a wonderful common space with fireplace to have a nice bottle of wine and interact with... We stayed in the cottage for three days and had dinner in their restaurant every night. Delicious food, great service and wine list. Enjoyed every moment. Even got to use the pool(not heated though...and it was end of not very warm may). Beautiful views. Charming rustic setting. Amazing garden.

We stayed for 4 nights and everything was nice except the room could use some TLC, we thought it was a little pricey for the quality of the room. Otherwise it is a very quaint charming hotel and location. It is close to Montepulciano, not close enough to walk but a ten minute drive. We had a car so it... More

I thought I was in a dream. This Villa was exquisite! The grounds, the beautiful dining room, the separate spot with the fireplace for evening gatherings. We took the cooking class that served the restaurant that evening. We also ate here 3 out 5 nights because it was so good! The breakfast spread was spectacular! The staff was incredibly welcoming... After a week in Rome we were ready for a bit of quiet in Tuscany. We found villa cicolina the ideal location to enjoy quiet montepulciano with magical Siena only an hour away. The service was impeccable and the food nothing short of amazing. It was a wonderful stay and opportunity to enjoy the Italian countryside.

My Mom and I stayed here for three days of our two week trip to Italy. What a delightful place to stay. The people who helped us were so kind and accommodating. The flowers and grounds were charming and everything you hope that Italy will be. The food for breakfast had a large variety with lots of fresh bread, fruit,... More

Absolutely loved this hotel. The staff are very friendly and obliging and the whole place was well thought out and maintained. The gardens are gorgeous and there is a pool with stunning views (although a bit nippy as unheated). They also have an onsite restaurant which was brilliant, we ate there twice. Would definitely return, I didn't have a single... More

With 5-star service from their English-speaking manager (Sayed), receptionist (Ahmed), and dining host (Danielle), this villa was the perfect reprieve for my wife and I to get away from the hustle and bustle of every day life. We arrived with parking space for our rental car and smiling faces to greet us and take our bags to our room. When... More
