As we were admiring the view of Montepulciano from our car, little did we know that we had arrived at Relais Ortaglia. Our experience here was truly Tuscan. The rooms were comfortable and spacious. The grounds were beautiful. Vistas of Tuscan vineyards, a beautiful pool,...More
Thank you Mara and Terenzio. Relais Ortaglia was the perfect base to explore Tuscany. I enjoyed my early morning coffee time with Mara and our wonderful tours of Tuscany with Terenzio (let Terenzio order lunch for you on his tours). We never tired of the...More

We stayed here in August, and didn't rent a car. We decided to rent e-bikes, which were dropped off at Ortaglia for us, and we rode them through a couple towns. Multepulciano looks farther than it really is, we took the bikes there as well for dinner, and it took like 10 minutes. The e-bikes were great for helping us up those steep hills. It was fantastic. You could probably walk too it would take a bit longer but still easily done.

"San Donato was more expensive, but worth it. Also stayed in Poggiolo which was really nice as well."
