Pleasant staff, nice big room. Quiet despite street frontage. At 99 euro severely overpriced. Typical lousy Italian breakfast. As usual with every hotel I have stayed the wi-fi only worked if you found a spot reasonably close to where the modem was situated, in this case I sat in the stairwell!

This great little hotel is only a short walk from the ferries to the islands. We had the wrong ferry schedule so we missed the ferry to Stromboli and were in a pinch. We stumbled upon the Petit Hotel where we were welcomed with open arms and friendly service! The desk attendant even called our Stromboli hotel to sort out...

The best reason to stay in this hotel is that it is less than 100 yards from the ticket offices for the ferries and hydrofoils to the Aeolian Islands. Our room in the hotel was perfectly decent but not overwhelming, and the host was very helpful.

We were fortunate enough to stay at the Petit Hotel when it was still in the hands of the original owners (beginning of November 2011). Such a wonderful ethic of the perfect host, as described by other reviewers. We arrived tired and hungry and when we said we were tired to go out to a restaurant, Giuseppe ( from Lipari)...

Other reviews were right, this is a perfect location when in Milazzo. We just walked across the street and got on the ferries to the islands, no problems leaving bags locked away for the day when you check out. Parking can be a bit of a pain, but the street immediately beside the hotel has street parking and you can...

This is the hotel that has it all; fantastic location adjacent to ferries, buses and centre of town, wonderfully helpful staff, delicious food, comfortable beds, relaxed atmosphere and eco-friendly to boot. We stayed for three nights, and didn't want to leave.

We are a middle aged couple from New Zealand that visited Italy and Sicily for the first time and reserved a room at the Petit from good reviews we had seen on Tripadvisor. We stayed for a night so we could ferry to Lipari for a day trip the next day. It was very fresh with bright colours , cool...

We paused in Milazzo for the night, before taking the ferries the next day --- and I fell in love with this hotel. It was beautiful, with gorgeous tile floors, and everything completely ecological not to mention a very fresh and expansive and delicious breakfast. When I asked about recommendations for our next stop - Stromboli, the staff recommended places,...

Perfectly adequate, but our visit was soured when we returned from an overnight trip to Stromboli, having left our hire car (and keys) with the hotel. The car had been parked less than 48 hours in the garage, at an agreed rate of 12 Euro/night. The guy that took us to get our car tried to charge us extra, for...

The hotel is very centrally located in Milazzo. Across the street is the seaport and transportation to the Aoelian Islands, and a short walk to the downtown area where on Sunday nights the street is closed and everyone just strolls along. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The staff was outstanding. They went out of their way to make...

The small Petit Hotel is a building located in Milazzo, in front of the harbour where is possible to get boats and hydrofoils departing to the Eolian Islands. Placed close to the main monuments, the Petit Hotel is made up of a two floor building with a bar furnished to the sell of goods subject to monopoly at the ground floor, and a comfortable terrace that faces the harbour. All the rooms have air-conditioned and are provided with mattresses in natural latex, furniture in solid wood, tv LED 32", digital Italian and foreign channels, minibar furnished with alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, sweet and salty snack, free wii fii connection, courtesy set in the toilet, hairdryer, shower. Each accommodation has a balcony or windows that face the harbour or a quiet inner courtyard, and is decorated with original paintings from a local artist. All the hotel interiors are decorated with hand-worked tiles coming from the famous Santo Stefano di Camastra. The inner stair that from the hall leads to the upper floor recalls exactly in its style and colour the famous staircase of Piazza Armerina. The Hotel owns a closed garage for its guests, and reservation is needed. For all those guests who will need a luggage safekeeping, we will keep them for free for all the time needed. For breakfast the Hotel will offer a wide buffet made with typical Sicilian goods, fresh fruit, cereals and yogurt without forgetting the classic continental breakfast with sweet and salty goods. ... more   less
